Take all the photos your heart desires but out of towners are notorious for literally stopping right where they are on a very crowded sidewalk to snap a picture and it mercilessly clogs pedestrian traffic. I think what many people don't know about NY street etiquette is that often the quickest way to get around is on foot. It's a city that is built up, not out. So people have get to the office, or their kid's school, or a doctor's appointment, or wherever they are going by walking QUICKLY. A cab or the subway sometimes won't get you where you're going in time. So if you want to take photos, go right ahead and do so but just take a step to the side first and lean against a building so you're not in anyone's way. For Texas, here’s some much better options since she seemed to not actually live in Texas: we aren’t all cowboys like you think, yes we do say y’all a lot you will probably start saying it to. “California people are pretty chill and don’t get offended easily”
Ummmm
ッA can of soda I basically spit my water out at that. 😂
Liberallllllls
How to offend Californians: be republican
Did he mistake Californians for surfer dudes
MY EXACT THOUGHT
As I Floridian the Florida one made no sense I would say something like “don’t ask us if we have been to Disney world” or “don’t assume we are all on crack” or “don’t ask me if I’ve met Florida man”
bro ikr.
or don't assume everyone is a tourist
Facts
Florida girl could have said something like, “I know we are ‘Florida men’ but not everyone is a ‘Florida Man’ .” Not every Floridian speaks Spanish so I bet that was unrelatable to a bunch of people.
3DLavaLamp yeah I didn’t understand her comment... like... okaaay
They need to get us a different Floridian
It's also very case by case. Switching languages can be condescending and hard to follow, but I find many people who aren't native English speakers really like it. If you're making a conscious effort to learn and use some Spanish to better connect with someone they will usually be flattered.
I hear more Spanish on my college campus than I have ever heard in Florida during the times I’ve gone there.
Yeaaa, it was based on Miami only 🧐
The Florida girl should’ve mentioned that we’re not all crackheads
Florida has such a bad rep there was way better things she could have said than “speak Spanish well”
Mandi Arena hahahahah!! Right?!
ジャナ lmao!!!
Avery Scott exactly
Most of the kids I went to school with spoke Spanglish. I think our rep forgot about it.
"Idaho no U-daho"
Haha that killed me for some reason 😂
That is the first time I heard that. It is funny.
Denzel Segbefia I said: Idaho cause I da hoe
Denzel Segbefia me too. I had to rewind it a few times
It's so stupid when people actually say it out loud.
I've never heard that before. 😂 It sounds hilarious but I imagine if it happened in real life it'd be super cringe
Wisconsins real tip should be: literally stop making cheese jokes
Bigfoot its too cold in Wisconsin to drive sober
MARY GREEN oh yeah im sure
california- don’t assume we’re all out for fame. LA is one of our cities, not all of them
Ok that’s what he should have said
Yes! Agreed.
Grace Miller Segura faxx no printer
i agree as a californian
“Californians are pretty chill and you can’t offend anyone” well he found one way to offend us
Colorado: don’t assume everyone who lives here is a walking encyclopedia about weed. Seriously, it gets old.
Lady Of Spades
Very true. And am I not hearing that guy right? But the way he pronounced Colorado sounded right and I was born here. Idk
@@Kim-eh8dv I think he wants to pronounce it Colo-Rah-Do, which is correct spanish pronunciation.
But everyone here says Colo-Rad-O so idk either way it's not like anyone would be offended
It drives me bonkers that this isn't in alphabetical order
AZ: There’s nothing you can really hit us with.
Me, a local Arizonan: “EVERYTHING IS DESERT!” IS THE TRIGGER!!!!
Frrrr!!!!
It really be super hot here 😳
@H T welcome to my world
Everything is a desert 😏
Huge facts, I live in Pine, AZ and theres nothing but mountains and trees for miles. Although "technically" I live in a high desert
Utah: don’t be a weird city person that thinks they know everything. It’s annoying when we get badmouthed and then have to help the badmouther out of a canyon
Here in the rural and southern parts of Missouri you shouldn't do that either for sure and don't act like you know more about the state because you live in t he city because the city is like 5% of Missouri
Utah: don’t assume we are all LDS/Mormon and act like it’s crazy when we aren’t. Also don’t ask if we have a lot of kids, we probably do, but that’s not important
Kailey Can’t Think Of A Name or multiple wives lol.
That’s right!

Maryland : eat seafood without old bay ..or say you don’t like crabs .
And its pronounced, "Murri-land", NOT "MARY-land"
She bothers me in every video. They need a new representative! Haha
As a Marylander I agree with what she says this time lol
Omar Hafeez how are you offended by DC people
Hungry Gamer it’s mare land
Person: Californian, what’s your secret to never feel offended?
Californian: that’s my secret, I’m always offended
Nah, they actually pretty chill, just don't get Disneyland and Disneyworld confused.
The jersey guy should have said "don't say JOWR-sey" or don't mention the tv show The Jersey Shore
Dani mannarino exactly what I was about to comment
Not many people in Jersey ever talk about the tv show
Exactly
Exactly do not try to do a fake accent.
Yesss what annoys me the most is when people do the “new joisey” accent
How to offend a Texan:
“What’s Whataburger?”
Also, does anyone else call it “WATERburger”
I'm a Texan. I used to say Waterburger. Dear god.
@@AnnoyingPyroMa1n I did the same! Buuuuut I was really little when I did
Okay, at the risk of offending Texas, what actually is a Whataburger? Never heard the term in my life.
Its a burger restaurant we have here
PhoenixBlazer39 A restaurant found exclusively in Texas
EDIT: Never mind, I'm wrong
everyone: mInE wAS sO iNaCcUrrAte
massachusetts: don't wear anything related to the yankees

Is nobody gonna talk about how there’s like 20 states missing lmao
As long as my state was here im good
which ones
There are 50
for kentucky just don’t ask us
“does everyone like kfc/chicken?”
“are your teeth fake?”
“do you walk barefoot?”
and don’t
•bring up kfc constantly
•ask if we’re all homophobes
•ask if we ride cows and horses instead of cars (yes, someone actually asked me this)
Yes totally. Or don’t bring up Democrats, Mat Bevin or Andy Brewsheir (if I spelled that right). Politics are worse here than in like any other state right now
kentucky is the best state because of route zero
for louisville especially don't say louis-ville or lewi-ville (didnt know how else to pronounce it via words) cuz someone will hurt you for it
What did the guy say in the video about Ky? I can’t understand him
ok but kfc is brought up A LOT
I thought that Arkansas would be like “Dont say Ar-Kansas” was
excuse me liam same I’m a Kansan btw and we r told that is very rude and impolite to say that and not to say it especially in front of a native
Audrey Mulloy bruh I’m an Arkansas native and I can tell you no one cares if you pronounce it that way, it’s just not amusing
I am confusion. Why is dis one Kansas but this one's not Ar-Kansas. America explain! Explain!
Yeah I've lived in Arkansas my whole life and we dont care lol we either are over it cause we've heard it so much or just laugh about it
me too
Here’s five ways to not offend NJ locals that are better than this guys:
Don’t ask where my “joisey” accent is
Don’t mention the show Jersey ashore
Don’t say NY has better pizza or bagels
Don’t make jokes that our state is ugly or smells bad
Don’t come to our state and only drive the speed limit
Also I don’t have an accent y’all do
depends on the pizza i live in jersey but near me the pizza in ny is better
Ny pizza and bagels better
It's called the Garden State because of the farmlands. But those people in North Jersey just pretend South Jersey doesn't exist.
Haha they thought that their bagels are better than New York’s
So the Maryland one wasn’t “don’t say you don’t like old bay”...?
Salt, Pepper, Old Bay.
OKAY TRUE.
Those are fighting words
That’s what I’m as gonna say
Yo New York guy is definitely the coolest on this whole series
“Don’t insinuate their unintelligence” ... I’m just gonna leave that there. Do with it what you will.
Caitlyn Ford he should have said something about fricking cousins or diabetes
That was the funniest thing i heard in the video and ijust died
0:31 *How to Offend California*
I am a Republican.
No Brang oh i didnt know
That Music Guy most of California’s population is liberal but most of California landwise is actually conservative.

God, I love girls with dark humor.

We're all like that in Wyoming ;)
Kenzie Tankersley im moving there then
@@kenzietankersley9914*puts Wyoming on American trip list*
We’d get along well, I say goodbye by telling people not to die
As a Marylander, I would say don’t joke about Old Bay. We take our Spice convictions EXTREMELY seriously.
yes, yes we do.
Southeastern PA will defend you guys on this, GOD where would we be without crab fries!
Who would do such nonsense!
Cheese and no vegetables? Easiest way to offend a Minnesotan is to insult our state or embellish our accent.
Or say "I bet it's not THAT cold"
Or to mention Wisconsin
Or not be polite and greet someone back.
Plus I mean casserole and duck duck goose are swear words. Or complain that it’s cold when it’s in the 30’s-40’s, this is the warmest it’s been in 3 months. It’s like a heat wave for us.
Yes thank you! I came to the comments to say that. What does cheese and vegetables have to do with anything?
Here is one for Texas DONT try and say “y’all” and over exaggerate to mess with us it’s really annoying
Mary Johnson I say you's
I say y’all not even in texas
I like saying y'all but I'm canadian
I thought the comment said, "Don't mess with Texas."
Mary Johnson don’t say yinz if you’re in the burgh

or say "arecanzaz"
This comment is beautiful
I love that almost no-one in this video has the slightest hint of an accent
Everyone has an accent. If you didn’t have an accent, you’d be completely silent.
The Ohio and Kentucky ones were off. “Just say hi to everyone”... and “don’t cuss much”... Really? Lol.
I dont think the employees at Cedar Point would enjoy someone walking up to them, saying hi, and walking away
I find funny bc having moved to Ohio I find people to be very rude and unapproachable.
Maranda Joy
then you’re living in the wrong town high key
Maranda Joy just because your part of Ohio is rude doesn’t mean the whole state is! Everyone I see in my city are really kind:)
Mandie Mathis the real Kentucky response would be “Don’t pronounce Louisville as ‘luis-ville’.”
no no new jersey should be not making fun of us saying “new joisey” when we don’t sound like that at all
giana melo or make fun of the accent period! Like the way we say water or coffee 😂😂
TRU DAT
“Joisey” is so fun to say tho
i have such a bad jersey accent whenever i go out of state i’m picked fun of for it.... but i definitely don’t say jersey like THAT😂
People think we are like the people in Jersey shore smh
I love how Arizona can’t be offended, it’s the wildlife you need to really worry about offending
California: Don’t assume we are all liberals and special snowflakes and that we are all rich and live in LA
What if your in LA or san francisco or a big city like that.
Same for ny, we all arent easily offended snowflakes, even tho I consider myself liberal
Who else clicked just to see if they could guess what their state was going to say
Illinois is literally just speaking for Chicago people 😂.
Yeah but like New York would argue that and so would the rest of the us behind them.

Woman: Drive at a normal speed-
Texans (including my family): What’s a speed limit.....
Michael Jackson was an amazing person and a humanitarian.
Despite being disappointed by my states rep she has a point Texas despite it's rumors is a state run on polite gestures and spite. No matter which side of Texas you're on each will ensure your continued survival and believe me the different sides of the state are just that, manners and spite are the only reason we co-exist sometimes I swear.
LilBluAviatrix the point flew over ur head
seriously tho. she could have at least said don’t assume that everyone is a cowboy and owns a farm or texas isn’t the wild west
Julianna Emerson exactly!! I live in Midland, Texas, and it is so diverse, colorful, and there aren’t many country and cowboy people. The food is amazing!! The Mexican food sucks everywhere else. There’s nothing like Texas. I tried moving north, but my mom and I are 100% Texans.
thats how it is in every episode
What NY actually is: when you’re in the city, don’t stop in front of people just to take a tourist picture
Same for Chicago lol
Thank you three for confirming my fears. Now I won’t feel like I’m being irrational next time we’re traveling and my mom wants to stop and take a picture in a crowded area😂
and don’t assume we’re all rude just bc we may not have the time to give you directions to central park or the empire state building lol, use maps or something
@@1classikai Just step to the side.
And have a great time whenever you get to visit here! 😃

Chelsey Abbott I’ve run into mostly Mexicans in California... most of those blondes everyone knows is on the coast
@@septumpunch7797 True every state has racists somewhere
For Texas, here’s some much better options since she seemed to not actually live in Texas: we aren’t all cowboys like you think, yes we do say y’all a lot you will probably start saying it to. There are 2 very different cultures in Texas city life and country life, and country fried steak and chicken fried steaks are different, asking for iced tea and getting sweet iced tea and being confused, saying you don’t like sweet tea, saying you prefer unsweet tea.
Thank youuu! This is much more accurate😂
And no fancy tea bags or sugar , but Lipton and Sweet n Low!
I love how everyone had something specific about their state and California and Iowa was just “You can’t really offend us” and “Don’t be rude”
