    We measure distance to places with time and not actual distance.

      No, highways and freeways are not the same thing. While all freeways are highways, not all highways are freeways. On freeways, you can go faster, there's no cross-traffic, and there's at least 2 lanes in either direction. Highways don't necessarily have any of that, and they can run through town.

    If you ask a Californian how long it takes to get to a destination they will always respond with ”probably 20 mins or so depending on traffic.” We tell distances by how bad the traffic is.

      I feel you, but I'm gonna say this one was accurate. I live (in ACTUAL) upstate, and I get tight when people are moving slow or in the way. Another way to spot two New Yorkers is hearing them argue about what is considered "upstate."

    1:46 - Wrong. There are multiple ways you can spot a fellow Illinoian.
    1) Bump into them or be in their way, typically they'll say Ope as a way of basically saying excuse me.
    2) Ask them if they want a Pop, if they answer they're an Illinoian (or general midwesterner), if they look confused they aren't.
    3) They will know Chicago isn't the capitol
    4) They can tell the temperature and be right (within 1-2 degrees) and also can tell when rain is on the way by the smell in the air. Our hellish plains state has like 30 different seasons in a day so we have learned to be thermometers.

    The Virginia one was actually accurate especially if you live in Northern Virginia. Accents are much lighter there
