He was the one that found Eddie laying on the floor seconds before he died and the one who last spoke to Benoit. He suffered the death of his uncle in his own arms and realized Chris called him before committing suicide after killing his wife and son. Incredible how he could carry on after all suffering all that in less than 2 years.
Ok. I'll say this. I was a Benoit fan for a long time. He had a hard style and he paid a hard price. I truly believe his mind was broken the night his family died. We'll never know his thoughts, compulsions, motives or anything.I'm not condoning what he did, but I can't condemn him as never being a decent guy, because I believe Eddie Guerrero could not have been that close to someone as evil as people say of Chris. All we can do is remember the man's work and view his end as a cautionary tale.

I never knew Benoit and Eddie when I was watching wwe never their accomplishments everything they have succeeded but I would look back about all the matches they have and the connections they had with the fans and all the superstars they have worked with and it seems so hard to know how people would feel about these guys when they passed away

Rey was injured and couldn't walk until July/August when he made his comeback, as far as I know to ride and all of that stuff. Probably a reason why he wasn't there on that tribute or he refused to take part of it as Jericho did.
