Think I’m at the point where I’m ready for us to head back to the championship now and then press the reset button on this Fosun era. They can have a think whether they want to spend the money to make us competitive again or if not move on and let new owners come in. Ticket prices, players and owners all need rebalancing at this point we have lost the soul of the club gradually since Covid. Felt we'd actually defended fairly well until the first goal conceded, but once that went in, you knew where it was going, and that's one of the most worrying things - heads drop and we just crumble in adversity, no mental strength, we've forgotten how to win. Worrying injury to mosquera, but gives a chance to Santi. We have to somehow find that first win soon, but looking down the barrel of Liverpool then city at molineux, atmosphere could get really nasty. I'm still backing GON, but he's definitely under pressure now

I'm struggling to see where our next points are coming from and I think that it's time for us to part ways with Gary O'Neill. If we try and play the same system against Liverpool we are going to see a four or five nil defeat at Molineux
I have questions over GON, fitness levels, but also the quality of our defence. RAN is one of the worst LBs I've ever seen at Wolves defensively, although going forward, he's one of the best dribblers I've ever seen at Wolves, so I understand why he's in there. Semedo has his moments but not really consistently good enough. Mosquera has been on loan for god knows how long for good reason. Dawson is the only player in that defence that I would class as a Premier League standard player, but even then, he's getting older now and can't really last a full 90 at the same level. Further to that, we've sent Hugo Bueno out on loan, who's probably our best defensive LB, and sold Kilman, who this season would probably have been our best defensive option. We've sold players to balance our FFP issues but since Neves, I thought this was settled? So what happened to the Neto and Kilman money? Fosun get a lot of stick but even then, I still feel like they get off lightly. I often think our best bet would be to get relegated and rebuild again. Fosun had a 10 year plan to get us to the UCL. We've gotten worse and worse every season since Nuno's last season.
Have we even got the personnel to play a back 5 with Toti out and Mosquera stretchered off? Doherty at centre half is it, or will O'Neil try and switch someone like Andre or Lemina back in there as a sort of hybrid centre half? I'd love to know what's happened behind the scenes, seem to recall there being talk from within the club that there'd be money to spend this summer and then there apparently wasn't really, even after all those player sales? I know Gary O'Neil will get the blame for the lack of form, but something seems to be generally wrong at the football club and I wonder if it's something from higher up or further behind the scenes that's seeping through. I think a decision needs to be made on who the best combination is in CM. The best performers this season have, in my opinion, been Andre and Bellegarde, who I think is more an 8 than an attacker, yet you can't see them ever benching Joao and/or Mario.
I don't see o'Neil carrying us to the next level poor substitute everything just poor the quality we have we should be aiming for Europe conference or even Europe league with the quality we have

We have a horrible season, then bring in somebody who’s willing to play the hand he’s dealt and he does pretty well, then he decides in the summer that he can play like City too, and the board doesn’t back him enough, but he pushes on anyway and then we concede 5 goals a game until he gets sacked in October, just for the whole thing to start all over again? Longer term wolves have put themselves in a bind. If they go to a back 5 The andre transfer and bringing in wingers R.gomes and forbs makes it awkward. I think GON doesn’t have the players to play his back four. Yes our current squad are talented but you can have11 most talented but if you cannot bind as a team then you’ll win nothing. Can’t blame ONeil for all of it as he couldn’t get the players he wanted. However his game management has been shocking…Chelsea went in 2-2 half time 1-0 Newcastle and 1-0 today. Can’t keep blaming the fixtures for this for that much longer.
