A good Wrexham victory which bolster their strong start of their season but fairplay to Crawley Town to make them work hard for the victory, good friends!!!👍
Phew, that was a hard game. Crawley played a lot of good football and you couldn’t say they didn’t deserve a point, but Wrexham kept scrapping and nicked all three. My first time at The Racecourse in a thunderstorm - the last 10 minutes there were some brilliant flashes of lightning that elicited a reflex of collective 'oo's' from everyone in the ground just as the thunder arrived so the storm was pretty close. I was worried that the ref might take the players off the pitch, couldn't have complained if he did as there was a house in nearby Gresford got struck by lightning at 5pm and its roof caught fire, just about as we entered the last five minutes of normal time.
The club's warnings about standing didn't help the atmosphere, but a lot of it was the small away following and lack of noise. Crawley only took the lower away section, they returned the tickets for the upper section so they went on sale to Wrexham fans yesterday (Friday). It was hot, sticky, very overcast plus the Gresford memorial and the black kit and Wrexham not playing very well all seemed to add to the gloom - they had to put the floodlights on for the second half.

Not the best performance but to get a win when not playing your best is a sign of a good team.
Exactly

Top of the league on we go.
Why does the thumbnail show Marriott in the red kit when we played in black today?
Wrexham scraped out the win but Crawley were the better team today.
I can see how they tied port last week. Solid team. Too bad their gaffer will get sucked up by the first firing at a larger club
Nice job on the highlights package
Crawley played like it was a cup final. The downside of having Wrexhams notoriety.
Wow Crawley played it like a cup final. - The downside of Wrexhams notoriety
Was it me or did it seem like the supporters weren't into it today? Did the club warning have anything to do with it?
