Brother knitting machine KH581 with push button needle selection and patterning mechanism.

Even though this machine was made in the middle of the last century (in 1969), the mechanical nature of the needle selection and patterning makes this machine very robust, versatile, and reliable.
A direction selection and automatic needle selection repetition step make this machine a big step up compared to its 4-button previous model.
Brother KH581 is similar to other push-button machines and can automatically knit slip, tuck, and stockinet. It takes sport and worsted yarn easily. IT can take thicker yarn when only every other needle is in the working position.
