The cats are the biggest restriction and running a whipple tune it runs very rich to keep the cats happy but that causes cats to clog which ends up in a blown motor
Run e85. When I first got mine I filled with e85 and ran it hard. Being mines white I could see all the black stuff that came out of the exhaust it cleans it out good.
No CEL. On a supercharged application there are 2 benefits. 1 is the cats won’t clog and blow the motor. 2 is you pick up a lot more than 5hp with the increased efficiency
Just got the Whipple for my 23 f150 supercrew installed and I’m loving it! I got the stock exhaust and it does feel restrained. I appreciate the video, I was thinking about going catless too, but I have had problems with previous cars with o2 fowlers and am wondering about the codes. Could you please share a follow up video with drivability and reliability?
What kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting on the Whipple? I use the truck for work. I could stomach 13 MPG but not really much worse than that. Let me know when you get a moment please
@@Lambo_joe Personally I do a lot of highway, so long story short 19 highway and 12-14 city. I’ve put 5000 miles on the supercharger so far but with all the fun I’ve been having, the truck averages about 14.7 (trip computer). Hope this helps.
Why not just muffler delete? It's still not free flowing exhaust. Just curious Ford 💪

Where’s that thing at? Finna steal it and sell it to fund my MBA
Is it cold there? You have a jacket on, it's 108 here...I want to be there
Hey bro where did you get your pigtail harness for your fog lights
For the 5hp gain, not sure its worth it. CEL come on?

I’ve had the kit on for 8 months and it’s doing great no issues and no complaints. Also no codes. I have issues with codes on my mustang though
