Changed a lot since I rode there back in the day. About 1998 I raced the downhill there cold. Wrecked, but still took tenth. There were no wood features there then. I'll have to go check it out since I live close by.
That's a perfect job falling by Chris. Amazing how much stepper that stuff is in person. I'd try on a rental but no way in hell I'm taking my carbon down that bad boy!
@@vincentarchie5918 why on earth would anyone wanna hack their girlfriend's Instagram? First of all, that's a complete invasion of privacy. Second, if you're THAT insecure in your relationship, you probably shouldn't be in it if you have such little trust in your girlfriend that you gotta hack her social media.
Great video, boys! Chris gave it his all and charged hard. Hats off to Chris for hanging with a DH bike. As for you, great job riding all that bonky gnar-jank! 🤘🍻
I rode there a few years back, killer shit there. I didn't hit Psycho Rock tho, bummed. Was with a couple of newbs so we were staying pretty tame. BTW, that was a pretty good face plant there!!
So you were able to put your bikes on the lift?? I live only a few hours from here and thinking of trying that trail just didn't know how to get bike up there
Ya! Every resort that has a bike park in the summer has a way to get your bike up there. Sometimes you bring your bike with you into a gondola, but most of the time they put a bike rack every 2 or 3 chairs. You put the bike in the rack, and then sit on the chair right after. Then the liftys at the top get your bike for you
Yes! Before even watching the video I know it’s the best! I ride there so much and I also ski it which is even better( no offense) and it is great for any cardio training because of elevation! Love the vid
Ya, those bikes do everything at a decent level. It all depends on what you're riding and how. If you spend a lot of time in the bike park, then you might want something bigger
@@onboardwithben1230 quick question, I’m about 6’1 and I’m not sure if I should go with the Large or X large. I plan on sitting on a bike if possible or one similar in size. Would you mind sharing some info ?
Captain Jack is such a good trail. Probably one of my favorites out of everywhere I've ridden!
I was JUST cringing about how I totally would've washed out coming into the meadow @ 4:20, and then you do! Glad you were ok :)
That was SO AWESOME, and super fun to watch! Great shred! Looking forward to more vids...
Thank you so much! I'll do my best to get them out to you guys 🤙
Sick video Ben! I've only hit Keystone and Trestle, I need to get out to Crested Butte sometime
They have some great trails! One of the prettiest places in Colorado as well. Steamboat, Aspen, and Granby are cool too 🤙
This was recommended for me
That's awesome! 🤙
@@onboardwithben1230 very good video
I’ve done tons of Mountain Biking in crested butte but never the downhill. Seems so fun and I can’t wait to go’
It's a great park! That area is a gem in general

Thanks, dude! It's a great park! I need to make more vids like this too 🤙
@@onboardwithben1230 No Doubt! Maybe we should do a collab this summer, that would be sweet!!

Only 140 subs? Dude this content is insane

would you say that trail bike with 140/130 travel with maybe beefed up wheel set up would do fine there under intermediate rider?

It's cool!!! Hello from Russia
What is that noise coming from the bike...the rattling
Just a dusty bottom bracket
@@onboardwithben1230 So it isn`t cable rattling ?
@@experiencewithmartin972 no, that bike was always noisy tho. The rear shock made some noise as well. I've got a new one since then 🤙
Bravo
Nice!
Thank you! 🙏💕
