Ya, I am very lucky as there is plenty of it near me. I have seen websites that have free shipping on orders over $100 I think. Can't remember right now which ones but I'm sure if you google walnut wood/slabs for sale you would come across some👍 Thanks for watching!

Thank you! I guess I just have a nack for it. The half inch blade helps too. Course you can’t make sharp curves with it but seems to be better on the straight cuts. What size blade do you use?
Not sure there is a right or wrong answer to this question. At the time of this video I don't think I had a router so I used the table saw. If I had a router table it may have been easier, quicker and a bit more safe. So, I guess it just depends on what tools you have and your experience. As far as routing after the frame is glued together, yes, that is an option. But it would leave rounded corners that would have to be squared up with a chisel. Not a big deal, just an extra step.
Gave me some ideas for a display piece I'm making for my Eagle Scout Grandson's Eagle Scout Presentation Henry Rifle. Nice work. Thank you.
Great, glad it could help. Hope your project comes out well. Thanks for watching!
That walnut looks great with the danish oil on it! Nice frames

Great video! Was that a round-over at 2:30?
Yep, sorry, not a very good camera angle. It's a 1/8" round over bit👍
Wow, you cut very straight on the bandsaw. Also, nicely done on the frame, it looks awesome!🍻👍
Thank you! Pretty happy how they came out too👍

That wood is so amazingly beautiful, and your bandsaw skill are over the top, how do you cut so straight?

I’m new to woodworking, is better to use the table saw for rabbit or use router ? I have also seen people to the rabbit after the frame glued together

I want to buy 3 pieces
Nice job, try pure hemp oil and beeswax, over spray shellac.
Thanks and thanks for the tip!
