Look up the video for Thorn In My Side. The backup singer and Dave Stewart’s guitar work is total earworm level on that one. Nice Judas Priest! Saturday Night Fever! Probably one of the first records I ever got. I was barely a couple of years older than you when that was released, and still have my copy in surprisingly good condition! Cool video Craig! ✌️
Hi Craig Gojira is awesome! L'Enfant is the only one I also have on CD. I really wanted it after I bought my first on vinyl but I was having a hard time finding it so I grabbed the CD. They opened the Olympics, that was cool. I got that Lamb of God a couple of months ago 😊
Yeah, that Olympic thing was probably the most metal thing I've ever seen on television 🤘 they are a great band, that's why I had to buy both albums when I saw them.
The next two Tubes records after those three were excellent. 1979's Remote Control was produced by Todd Rundgren and included minor hit "Prime Time" which is my favorite Tubes tune. Then, 1981's Completion Backwards Principal included "Talk To Ya Later" an early MTV staple. Interested to see if they're in the November pile! For UFO, my go-to is Lights Out! Good stuff!
@@TheSpiritofVinyl I saw the Tubes by accident once. It was late 90s and I was at a DJ convention in Atlantic City. Came off the boardwalk after an event, went through the bar, and a super loud band was playing "White Punks on Dope." I looked up to see Feel Waybill on stage. Grabbed drinks and dug the rest of the show. It was awesome, and a little sad that it was free, and about a dozen people in attendance.

I'm really digging The Tubes, definitely didn't sound like I expected them too, highly recommend their stuff. I agree Revenge is a great album.

I've only never owned one Tube's album.the one with She's a Beauty, don't remember listening far beyond that one track
That's the album I bought first due to She's a Beauty and it just spiraled from there.
