This saved me !!! I totally forgot it was tissue paper. 🤦🏼♀️ Was trying to use parchment paper. Thank you!!!!!
You are a life saver! This is the only video i found that actually showed me how to do this. So helpful, even two years later! ❤
That's great!!
So thankful for this!
Thanks so much! I'm new to cookie decorating and you just saved me from the expensive purchase of a projector!
Thank you ! Game changer
So smart, just what I needed, thank you!
Just what I needed...thank you!!!
So simple. Thank you 🤓
THANK YOUUUU 🫶🫶
Thank you!!
I love how the idea is really simple,I have tried apps and a lot of different ways to trace on cookies, but this was by far the best one.Thxxxxx
How many times can you reuse the tissue, before the moisture from the pen causes the paper to rip?
Thank you! I really don’t want to spend money on a projector rn since I’m just a newbie to this
wow thanks for this!!
You bet!
I’ve tried this before and my tissue paper doesn’t hold up too well. It tears and then I get frustrated and eat the cookie.
The tissue paper will need to be replaced after 2-3 traces. If you aren't able to trace even once, try using a thinner or less saturated marker.
Hello! What piping consistency did you use on this cookie? Outline or flood consistency?
Piping consistency for the writing.
Can you make this ahead of time?
Yes
Can you reuse the same piece of tissue paper for multiple cookies or do you recommend a new piece of tissue paper per cookie?
You may be able to reuse it 2-3 times, but if your marker is very "inky" then you may only get one use out of it.
Could you recommend edible food marker to use? I find some are too thick and they damage the icing and others are too thin and it goes all over the place like calligraphy on too much caffeine!!! Tip way too soft to do much
Yes, Rainbow Dust dual tip markers.
Is there a certain brand of tissue paper that you use?
Nope! Actually, the cheaper the better. Some of the fancy papers have a plastic coating that will prevent the ink from coming through.
Beautifully done! I’m checking out the Lissie Lou acrylic embossers. Are they meant for fondant only or is there a way to use them on flooded cookies?
I love how she is shorthand sweet
I actually think looks kind off cool with just the outline of the black marker 😂🙈
Very helpful, thank you!
What color marker would you recommend to use on white icing?
I like it
This is so smart! Definitely going to try. Thanks for sharing 😊
You are so welcome!
Awesome tip-- thank you soo much!
Any time!
Genius! Can’t wait to try this! Thank you for this video
