I’ve lived in the west and for last 10 years have researched the life of Jesus , and I’ve listened to many speakers from the Christian and Muslim side on this. @@MsJfraser I think the point is going right over your head. A God would not need to pray to himself, he would just do whatever he needs to be done. If he came to the earth to die in the first place and he knew his missin, why is he trying to change his mission last second? CHrist said we ALL are god in the flesh. Not just him.. "Is it not written in your law ye are gods?" Christ did not want to be put on a pedestal, he said all of the miracles he does man will be able to do the same and greater..You think he was the one and only because that's what Constantine and Romans decided during Council of Nicea. Before the council, Christ was known worldwide as a mere man who raised himself to the level of Messiah through purification.. Shoot, many people were turned to Gods in the bible like Moses..
And no.. Theres no such thing as a little g god. There ARE no lowercase letters in Hebrew, or in Greek. The Church couldn't handle that, so they changed things.. However, the Jewish and Musilm community has not ignored these truths because you can see where the translations happened if you can read Hebrew, Arabic

Brother Evans is mashallah so eloquent and asks the questions that many do not ever question themselves. How did Christianity really form and what where the real teachings of Jesus peace be upon him after true study and analysis. Nowadays everyone whether Muslims, Christians etc should study their scripture and history and understand themselves what the truth is. ما شاء الله عنكم انتم خير منا
What Christians should know is the message from Allah SWT in the Koran, namely that Jesus / Prophet Isa a.s. never arrested, crucified and died on the cross, but the one who was crucified was a sinner who was likened to Jesus / nabi isa a.s. by allah swt. The proof that a sinner who was on the cross was when he (the sinner) shouted "eli, eli lama sabaktani" which means god, god why did you leave me. Meanwhile, Jesus / Prophet Isa a.s. He never once called God "eli", but Jesus / Isa always prayed / called God Allah by calling him father whether in good or bad circumstances. So be aware, O Christians, that Jesus never died & did penance for his followers / people. So repent, O Christians and immediately embrace Islam and become a Muslim. May Allah SWT give you guidance and a way of salvation. amen.

So whenever jesus using this word it is referring to almighty God. People misunderstand this word and misuse it. For this reason: Allah Almighty has revealed in the noble Quran not less than 99 names and attributes of Allah but Allah took utmost percaurion not to use the word Father as one of his names/attributes because He knew that people would misunderstand it and eventually misuse it

notice these words from both the Bible and the Quran sound the same .
Eloh / Allah = God
Eḥad / Ahad = one (unique)
even the word Sh'ma which means listen is also close to the Arabic word Esma'a . like Salam peace and Shalom . it's so interesting . it's not surprising since Arabic and Hebrew derive from the same mother language i guess they're subdivisions of Aramiac if i'm not mistaken . pretty cool
