- Come check out the John Muir Trail up to Clark Point with some amazing views of Vernal Fall & Nevada Fall. I ended up doing a little over 7 miles barefoot on this beautiful New Year's Day. Finished off the hike with some spectacular Top Ramen burritos. Subscribe to @theyosemiteguyd to keep up on all my barefoot hiking adventures! Much love! :)
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your support! Thanks for watching!
Glad you’re 👣👣
Super adventure to start the year. Great to see the seasonal changes along the trail. Your culinary creativity is only matched by your enthusiasm. Nice to see a few others on the trails sharing a spectacular New Year hike. 7 barefoot miles is awesome glad you shared with your over One Thousand subscribers, Congratulations !!
Hey man! Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to all the hikes I will go on. I surely needed this one, and I pushed it with the feet because I haven't been able to get them onto dirt enough lately 😁. I appreciate your support and encouragement!
First comment and like! Glad to see you again and congrats on your 1k milestone! 😊😊😊🙌🙌
@@Faroutamazingadventures Thanks man! Love seeing your adventures as well! :)
Now that’s a great way to start the new year. No hang over, just barefooten on the trail.
Absolutely! Best way to celebrate the new year! 😃
It looks beautiful up there! I haven't ever gone up the John Muir trail from the footbridge. I love the views! Nice little spot to see Vernal Falls 😊
It was an amazing day, thank you! Yes, it's a cool alternative to know when the Mist trail is closed. 😊
Been to some of those places, but not your secret spot to view Vernal😊
@@sierrashere6957 You got to hit it up next time! It’s best in the spring. Thanks for watching! :)
It goes to tell you that every Yosemite winter is different
@@donniereiter3646 Yes! I’ve lost count of how many tourists have asked me where all the snow is in the last two weeks. I’ve seen it snow in October some years and June in others… ya just never know. I think it’s still going to be a wet winter, just a little late.
@@theyosemiteguyd What a wonderful surprise to watch your new video this morning. Makes the whole day. Thank you PS Maybe you should be a film maker.
I am grateful that you enjoy my videos like that! I would love to expand my knowledge and abilities. I'll try to make more content soon!
Have I understood correctly that you were barefoot for 100% of this hike? If so, kudos to you! As I've said many times, if your feet feel hot, cold or sore, stay barefoot and keep walking and they'll adapt. If you can steel yourself to leave the shoes and flip flops in the car or at home, you can't possibly weaken and start wearing them part-way through your walk.
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍56
Thank you for the kind words. Had to give you a follow back for your amazing cinematography! :)
