Excellent battle report format.
Those pesky eldar hide too much :) Think this Tau list could do well under Mont'ka with the extra movement options to help hunt down the eldar.
Would love to see more Tau battle reports from you guys.

This is such a needed format, so sick of seeing hours of dice rolling. Ues its a dice game but just say if there is a clutch dice roll which didnt go off. Easy to follow whilst doing some hobbying, great job guys, earned a new subscriber.

best bat rep being long enough to watch and not short enough to skip.
with tau noticed turns 1-3 were at least to me bad positioning, where the tau are meant to be reactive especially with kauyon, eldar seemed to be the one reacting to tau and being defensive.

The shadow spectre bent guns; so painful to see! Literally this weekend, I received the same models. I used an electric kettle to heat water (steaming) and with only 8 seconds of immersion, and a tweak, straightened out all the guns. I don't know if the paint will need a touch up. Good luck!
Nice! These were originally straight, they’ve bent from me putting them badly in a foam case haha. Will have to try and fix!
The Tau player is way too defensive. He needs to push more with his Riptides and sit on Primaries, not hiding in the backfield. Mont`ka is the way.
Why would you choose to do kauyon. Literally pick aaaaaaaaaanything else for a bit of variety
I don’t rate retaliation cadre and I think montka struggles on uktc.
Kauyon got some nice buffs.
@@Gelmarus Sustained Hits 2 is the best buff, however Mont'ka gets its buffs early and its 2 damage buff stratagems really bumps up the damage. Also the flat Advance 6" stratagems really helps Missilesides shine.
@@rmgaminguk7079 yep but getting the detachment rule early helps less when you rarely get to use it T1 vs good players.
he is playing with index and not new codex, new codex is army is 2550 points
