    Thank you sooo much for all your head and neck vids; I had treatment for tongue cancer last year and am only 42 so want to rehab as much as poss and have had little help to do so, so have found your videos invaluable! It's like you read my mind...I got kinesio tape and your tape one came out....then thought I'd give gua sha a go, nothing to lose, and here's your vid :-)

    Whoa, the illustrations of the lymphatic system are very helpful! Gives a better idea of what's actually going on!

    It sounds to me like it's basically a massage but in a way that's sturdier than a human hand can be.
    I got a gua sha set for free and the one instruction sheet in the set was entirely in Japanese so I had no idea what I was supposed to do or what the thing was even for (the listing just said "for lymphatic drainage" and had a picture of someone using a massage roller on their butt), so this video was very helpful!

      I would agree. According to a Chinese professional it is supposed to be used as flat as possible, with slow, mindful strokes.

    Also, can I use with this a HA serum? It’s the only serum I use as my skin is thirsty!

    Do you think it's unnecessary or overkill to dry brush the body and use gua sha for the body, alternating? Should I just stick with one or the other? I'm 3 years in remission from Hodgkins, previously totally healthy. Just feel like my body isn't the same, more tired, more achy, get sick way more. So I thought I'd look into lymphatic drainage and dry brushing and gua sha have both been interesting to me. Thanks for your tips!

    When I used to go to PT after tongue cancer, they had multiple scraping tools that they used deeply to loosen my neck. So how can you use a grastin to get deep into the side of the neck for the microscopic nodules?

      Unless you did it EXTREMELY wrong, idk too much pressure, doing it daily, no oil on the skin, idk something like that, but you'd have to completely fck it up to actually change your face structure. I'm guessing you actually slimmed your face enough to see the real structure underneath. I've had a crooked jaw since i was born, but I couldn't tell until i got in shape and got a jawline, then you could totally tell there was something wrong with one side lol

      @@lnway8739 well I would have to see your before and after photos, and know exactly what you did wrong to be able to tell you. But assuming I'm right, just gain a little more weight to cover it. Let me put it this way, it doesn't matter if you do 1000 crunches a day, if you still have a layer of abdominal fat covering them

    • @lnway8739
      @lnway8739 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@StuntmanDanHemi My cheeks disappeared, and my jaw became straight and sharp, disproportionate to my face. Well, that's what changed, so the facial features changed. And by the way, instead of gaining some weight. I have had some cheek fillers. But I have a question, How can I get my jaw back to the way it was before? I think this is the hardest part because, as I said, the figure's jaws were full, i mean the profile side and now they are sharp

    • @StuntmanDanHemi
