DOUBLE PLOT TWIST: This was just L testing to see if Light is willing to do anything to achieve results and Light passed this test by being against child labour, but TRIPLE PLOT TWIST: Light only mentioned child labour because he knew L was in favour of it, Light only brought it up because he knew it would cause an argument where he could take the opposite stance that Kira would. (He is obviously in favour of it privately.)
But L knew or suspected that this argument was kinda forced, irregardless of the fact that it's in character for Light, so he can now say with 28% certainty that Light's pretended stance on child labor is actually an indicator of him being Kira!

@@nickd7935 It's a bit exaggerated but at the same time not really. There's one episode where Light/Kira is playing Tennis against L and he has a longer inner monologue about weather he should try to win or lose on purpose. He comes to the conclusion that Light would still try to win if he wasn't Kira and that it would be obvious to L that he was Kira if he noticed him losing on purpose.
So L is canonically a Multi-Billionaire So the amount of child labour L must’ve done is crazy.
He was raised by a child labor farm and now he’s a multi billionaire off the back of it. Was he supposed to agree with Light?

Especially because it's explained how he makes money. However, I don't see why he would be against much, as he is pretty much focused on investigations only.

L said that OG Kira never kill someone who do crime out of starvation, self defense, or by accident, and that's when they conclude that it's different Kira.
(I'm not sure if he said something about corrupt businessman or just something along the line that the substitute Kira kill people whether they're corrupt or not)
