In the hunting dog clip, I wonder how many people realise that it's the DOGS making the squealing sound, not the impala. Scenes like that with the dwarf mongooses happen many times every day, with different animals, in the wilds. City folks won't know this, so it comes as a shock when they view it for the first time. Elephants are amazing and the babies are among the cutest on the planet. Those two juveniles seem to have a lot of fun together. The leopardess seems to be out for a stroll with her cubs. Thanks for a wonderful insight into life in the wilds. I really miss being young and being able to spend a lot of time in the veld, observing all the amazing wild creatures that share our country with us.

those Mongooses are vicious hunters! I once saw an ermine jump a huge rabbit. the rabbit was much larger. , quite funny to watch. The rabbit jumping in full speed with the ermine on its back, biting its neck:) These mongooses are using the same tactic as wild dogs and other predators, biting the prays paws off. Nature is brutal!
