I swear this game would have been absolutely PHENOMENAL had EA not rushed it's release in the way they did. The plot, the sountrack, the intensity, the atmosphere, the racing from San Francisco to New York. Everything was looking to be another amazing work from Black Box. What a shame that it didn't come to pass, and I hope we get a chance at seeing this game done right some day...
My dad bought me this game as a birthday gift since I already had i undercover I put it off for a 1 week because of school but what to me was the dlc and the customization and the tier 6 Renault was clean am 17 now and hoping for a remastered version
I just wanted to say, it is extremely satisfying how fast you are able to clear through the quick time events, the transitions are so smooth it feels like a movie
It's related to forcing cutscenes to 60fps. Enabling 60fps it no longer has any slow-mo vs the original 30fps version. Edit: This also causes some audio desync issues as the audio follows the slow-mo, the most obvious being Stage 3 cutscenes.

I miss the nfs the run, it was fun, hard and it the last NFS that had Challenge Series, which is basically my favorite from the nfs series and don’t forget it was the last nfs from Blackbox.

The only time in NFS series where they actually use a lethal weapon like a machine gun. Well, in NFS: Most Wanted (2005) they show Mia holding a gun but not used it.
They couldn't use guns because NFS MW 2005 is set for PEGI 3. NFS The Run when came out was firstly PEGI 12 then changed to PEGI 16 which is funny. Same for NFS Carbon - when it came out it was PEGI 7 but then PEGI 12.
The drive during that tunnel section really impressed me. I would have just been crashing into the walls like a drunken hippo. The helicopter was really fun addition as well. Great run!
4:28 this is actually realistic cause racers are supposed to crash to make gameplay more intense by making close calls for protagonist and also racers will crash cause of high speed.
Dont forget that Jack was going to Chicago for Top50 and he was still on the hunt by Marcus underlings. This and next chapter will be toughest to beat because mobs will rubberband so hard due Tier6 mod was being used in here which means you will deal lot of time to avoid them ram and shoot at you while racing out of Chicago.
Game's reused tracks on a constant basis. Stage 3 has tracks that are recycled (with different time of day and orientation) in stage 4, if not stage 3 itself.
5:05 I hate how difficult is to reach to that last racer at the end of that race, you have to make it almost perfect just to beat HIM in that last straight

MW2012 handling, well it wasn't that bad. Rivals, I don't remember how it feels, it's been a while I'm not playing it. Idk about the PS4 NFS yet, but what I'm saying is, they weren't that bad, it's just The Run feels better to me

I've beaten this game dozens of times, and this stage along with stage 5 always give me chills hehe. It is short but awesome :) On another note, after reading the description I think I know which race it is. Is it stage 7.2? I tried doing a complete Run with the Chicago Taurus used by Jack and that race was HELL even in "easy" mode because the last rival spawns too far ahead quite frequently (and because that Taurus performs like a Tier 3 car hehehe).
Yes it is 7.2. The difficulty really depends on which car that spawns is in 1st and 2nd. I swapped to every Tier 6 car. Cars like Mclaren F1, Sesto & 918 RSR is very slow for some reasons and you overtake them early. While Veyron, Agera R, Venom and even the GTR they already cross the finish line 8+ secs ahead. So the right difficulty for me seems to be the Audi R8 in 1st, GTR in 2nd, then Veyron in 3rd. Have not tried the JDM cars yet as I don't wanna torture myself trying every AI combination :P

This game is from 2011 and of course you can lol. As well on Vista (if you wanted lol). And not surprisingly on Win 7 you'll have less bugs than Win 10.
it's kinda sad to see the online go, i would play it casually. ea is ea in the end they also killed carbon servers, there's been enough active players for both games to form a community

I absolutely *HATED* going through Cincinnati in this game. The Mob has cars that are WAY too strong for a fair fight.
