- One of the most action packed Stage in The Run's Campaign. Stage 8 The Great Lakes Campaign playthrough of NFS The Run in Tier 6 Extreme + Difficulty and 60FPS cutscenes. After nearly dying after escaping The Mob's Attack Helicopter, Jack chooses not to stand down and continue the race. He found another Tier 6 car at a dealership in Chicago and it is time to fight The Mob back.
Tier 6 Extreme Difficulty is running on a heavily modified version of the game where AI cars are swapped to Tier 5/6 cars and make up times adjusted to Tier 6. A showcase of what the game could have been if EA have not rushed it and as a final goodbye.

5:44 Everything about this part just screams epic. The score, the sound of the Sesto's V10 echoing, the Ai cars, and dodging traffic at high speeds just amazing NFS The Run is just such an amazing game.

It might be a decade old but the graphics of this game still delivers! If only it was given an open world and an ample time to finish the development of the game, this would be one of the masterpieces of EA

You gotta give a mad respect to the grunt in the black suv at 8:50, after got t-boned at a neck breaking speed by high powered supercar they still managed to land a hit at jack's elemento that also run at super speed..

Oh I love this stage as well! Fun fact, if you stop the video at 10:57 (when the chopper destroys one of the Cayennes by accident), that Cayenne has another vehicle inside during that cutscene for some reason, you can see the wheels inside the Cayenne ones. I took notice of it because I always found weird how that Cayenne gets destroyed. Turns out it had another car inside XD. It seems to be an old Mustang

after this tier 6, do tier 1 cars such as Golf and El Camino and beat it on normal
I already responded, Tier 1 is going to be boring. Need for Speed is all about fast cars. And the make up time events are designed for Tier 4 and won't be possible for Tier 1 cars.

@@IsuckAtDriving Tbh this game maybe the first NFS that forces you to skip slow cars as a starter car and already using a mid fast cars instead (I'm only talking about the Campaign)
I mean just for the memes it will be fun but seeing every car not be able to pass 140 mph or like 245 km/h is just painful to watch.
You go through so many nice looking cars and see them get destroyed truly heart breaking
I mean yeah but after all unlike in real life cars can get repaired by simply restarting the game while in real life is not the case. Imagine if a "restart" button existed just like these games in real life.

Because technically, I have already made a run where I finished the game with the Black Box Sesto Elemento. So I don't want to repeat what I have already done. Also symbolically, Black Box never finished the game, hence it ends at Stage 8 rather than the finish, being killed off early.

That was my biggest impression about how EA butchered this game and never let BlackBox finished this final game before it moved to Dice and Criterion.
Had EA let them finished this game before released, it will be one of the best game after Most Wanted, Underground and Hot Pursuit.
Also, graphics from Frostbite was stunning and I just think that this game was made last year instead of 10 years ago and they had ULTRA settings which is absolutely bonkers.

I already end the campaign withe the Sesto Elemento before in the other Tier 6 playlist. So I don't want to repeat again. Also performance isn't a factor in my choice of vehicles for my playthrough.
@@IsuckAtDriving I noticed you tend to avoid vehicles with Easy handling (with some exceptions, obviously).
The Sesto Elemento unsurprisingly it is the best car in the game in terms of performance. The worst Tier 6 is the Skyline R32. Literally every Tier 6 is faster and even some Tier 5 cars like the Volkswagen MK1 Golf.

The Sesto Elemento is still my favourite Lamborghini to this day
And best performing car in the car (especially the Tier 6 version). But it is hilarious how bad the Tier 6 R32 is - it is even worse than some Tier 5 cars (especially the OP 911 RSR MK1 Golf).

One thing weird about this game , is the sound in this game sounds hella weird..
For one, the Aventador is somewhat mellowed.
It is because TMX format in a Frostbite game doesn't work well like the GIN format in other Frostbite NFS games. But since NFS Pro Street Black Box were lazy to go back to GIN so they kept using TMX till the last NFS so that's why they sound weird.
Usually the benefit of the TMX sounds is you get better detail in the low RPM but the cons is this sound format compresses the sounds and that's why many cars sound really compressed here as well World and Undercover but in NFS Pro Street somehow there only they sound the most natural.
Also the SLS AMG and the Aventador were the only 2 cars that had a sound change in the console versions. The PC version for the Aventador used a Murcielago LP640 sound while for the Console version - McLaren F1 sound. The SLS sound for some reason Black Box wanted to change with the NFS HP 2010's Mercedes SL65 sound.
And it is no surprising if this game literally used sounds from NFS HP 2010 + the old NFS like NFS UG2/MW/Pro Street sounds like (the Ferrari 360 sound which is used for the One-77).

@@frostythewolf8290 Yes, due to Frosbite 2's shitty sound processing.
Even for example if you extract the GTR SpecV sound you'll hear it sounds like the NFS MW 2012's GTR Egoist sound.
The 370Z sound is basically the NFS HP 2010's 370Z but the sound accelerations are bit different however but pretty much the same. The most noticeable sound is the Porsche Carrera GT.
But it is stupid how some sounds that are so high-pitched like the Galardo and Sesto's sound. If you extract it sounds so high pitched like the NFS MW 2012 Gallardo and Audi R8 but again the stupid Frostbite limits some of the tones so they have to be low-pitched and more compressed unlike NFS Pro Street.

The modder released this mod temporarily on NFS mods called *NFS The Run perfected* but it has many issues and bugs to fix so ISAD is like the tester. So if he is comfortable to release it again - he will, if he is not give him some time lol.
