I like to imagine a small group of knights, by small i mean tiny men, that are fighting a secret war in your attic and basment, and you have a secret silent relationship with ze tiny men. In exchange for killing the rival faction of rat riding northern and southern tribes, you make them tiny weapons. The Tiny mid level men get to defend them selves and you dont have a rat problem anymore.
If the men are small then that knife would be the fuqing breaker blade of swords if seen by the men :))

I don’t know if I love Bobby more for his art, his humor, or his candor and openness about his life. All I know is that I love him for who he is. He’s a real one, folks.
When he publicly admitted that he had to beat a heroin addiction, my respect for him increased dramatically. That's a tough thing to admit to those close to you; to tell four million TH-cam subscribers is an order of magnitude harder.
I was going to say something to that effect, but you said it way better! I think that the combination of all of that is what makes watching his videos such a *joy*!

I have been going through some stuff and feeling like a failure for not being able to battle through the pain and depression I have been going through. You are a hero to me and I just want to say thank you for sharing your story about depression crushing you down too. You are amazing and if it can bring you down too, then it isn't because I am a failure and not good enough and I can have hope to get through all of this and get my life back too.

Sometimes things don't go the way you want them to. And breaking your tang off of your little knife, did give you fits there for a while. Needless to say, you found a master that could fix it and it turned out beautiful. Something to be very proud of.

If you want to cut soft metals like Aluminium for example, you can use a grinding disc made for stone or concrete cutting, because they don’t get clogged so easily :)

This is an amazing video! One tip I can give for the tang issue, make sure the shoulder isn't squared but rounded. A squared shoulder can lead to stress risers and snapping. I hope it helps for the next mini knife-a-roo!

Something I love about deep thoughts with Dewkey is that he is just being himself in that segment and getting things off of his chest rather than holding it in and being fake all the time infront of the camera

I was laying in bed watching this, almost fell asleep watching the vid at 3:00 PM until you said you were depressed. My heart immediately spiked and it made me realize that I am right now! I’ve been in bed all day and didn’t really consider why. Now I’m up and about to go for a painful run, but it will be worth it!

I can’t tell you how much “Deep Thoughts with Dukey” means to me. I’ve been looking for channels from artists who not only make their art, but also take the time to be authentic in their videos. That little bit of vulnerability followed up with motivation is invaluable and it didn’t dawn on me until watching this video that your videos were what made me first enjoy this kind of content.

Very cool video and thanks for being transparent about depression. I suffer from depression as well and have been taking medication to treat it for 18 years. No shame in the struggle, but we can win. I didn't want to nitpick but there's no mechanical connection between the tang and the handle. It's being held down by only glue. It would have been great if he made the the tang a little thicker and inserted a pin. or hammered the tang's end on to the pommel. Looks great tho.
Every time he shows the countertop in his shed from now on, I'm gonna be second guessing myself wondering it's just a picture of the counter surface or not.
