Daaamnnn that result is incredible!! I just noticed on my second watch, that the way you stretched and stylized the wings makes them just about the proportion to the sculpted dude that wings on humans would actually need to be for flight to be possible. I also love that you layered all the feathers correctly (Leading edge overlaps on the top of the wing, trailing edge overlaps on the bottom of the wing). This is such amazing work and you brought it forth in the most chaotic freaking way possible. I love it XD
i feel the name “the mourning of Icarus” would be cool. It looks like his father grieving for over his sons death. The wings being lite up can look like the “imaginary” or silhouetted wings that he used to have to escape.
I think he said entropy of the soul is the name. Entropy is the process of losing energy through heat so it makes sense because he burned the statue representing hardships and the wings could represent the hope that isn’t lost.

Imagine if the guy who's hand was sculpted and then had silicone in it could feel everything on his real hand. Like when Bobby caressed the hand, the other guy could feel that
It is called phantom sense and it can be pretty creepy at first (at the beginning you have to see it but after a long time it can even become that the person touching the replica can be 500 feet away and you will still feel a tingling where the person touches on your real hand). research about it are divided if it is real or fake as it differs from person to person and mostly linked to the person accepting the replica to be the real hand. Amputees tend to have it much more common but people playing video games and VR also develop it (some even train to get it for much higher immersion, yet it has a downside as a too high level of phantom sense actually can cause phantom injuries (bruises and even permanent scars).
@@kuromiLayfe Or what if, like, you could sense where all your past pee was, no matter how scattered and diluted. About as likely. The thing with amputees and VR you have completely wrong, but with the trappings of sounding right. Actually all that happens is people begin to act like the fake limb is real, and might report "feeling" something when they see the limb is touched. But when you blindfold them, and poke pins in the fake limb, they obviously can't actually feel anything. Because magic isn't real. So it's not about a pseudoscience mystical spirit connection. It's about humans having natural reactions of moving their bodies to avoid harm, and when a body part is gone and replaced they use the same instincts to preserve that fake body part the same way they would if it were real. Same reason people who play realistic video games might wince when their character falls off a cliff.
When I see this I think of change and hope, the body that was chared is like a shell and the wings are braking free to show change and with the clear crystal part of the wings helps people to keep hope for a bright future

he says he is an artist but he cannot estimate the proportions .. all the work for only a half-finished result .. i would be very dissatisfied with myself. and do it all over again. The sculpture is much too small for the wings .. The shape doesn't quite fit, .. it would be much better and would cost less .. so I can only say that it is badly made. @@PuffTheMagicDragon11B you’re so right. Especially who cause it’s an angel, a fictional figure so why does it has to be “proportional”. It’s the wings which make angels special so o think they should be exaggerated.

And I love the silly way sometimes you talk. The balance of serious and fun is amazing. Also that art thooooo, the amount of planning, thought, and hours put into this art is astounding.

The feeling I got seeing the statute when it was being showcased was indescribable. Like pure awe at how beautiful and meaningful it was. Emotionally stunning, especially with the setting/rising sun shining through the wings. The soulful music also aided the effect. Overall a gorgeous piece and definitely worth the time it took! Really evokes strong feelings in me.
Amen.💕💓😪😊☺
He could have a museum dedicated to his outstanding creations..

Man, I can so relate to you on so many levels, from the sobriety(minus the smokes...but working on it) to the hilariousness to the obsessive need to create. You have inspired me to get back to my wood working. Every time I'm in my shop, I just look around and feel overwhelmed and don't know how to get back to it. But I guess a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, or block of wewd......lol. Thanks for doing what you do in the way you do it and meaning a lot to some of us out there that might have some sobriety but still struggle with the self doubt and fear of inability or inadequacy. Keep on keeping on from a random internet stranger North of Boston!
You got this!!!!!
In the same situation. Have a wonderful shop full of tools but no inspiration. The piece of artwork made in this video is soul shaking and I think I may need to try and duplicate it. Havent given up just need a reason to try.

Also me: I wonder if I can make this
We have.. incredibly similar musical tastes. Aside from that aside, the final product is stunning, and you did it the masterful way: actually making it yourself. Fine show, sir!
I actually have goosbumps and a feeling in my core from this and that doesn't happen often.

How did I not come upon this any sooner?! 🥺
Bobby radiates such an amazing vibe, I wanna be frens and just watch him do art.
I don’t think he gets nearly enough credit for how damn talented he is it’s amazing
And equally hardworking...
And how incredibly funny he is he had me laughing
I think people would recognize his artistic talent more if they didn’t have to stomach the horrific theatrics.
Fabulous work and video! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Imagine if the guy who's hand was sculpted and then had silicone in it could feel everything on his real hand. Like when Bobby caressed the hand, the other guy could feel that
But what if there were multiple casts of the same hand form that mold? He'd be doing nothing but feelin' stuff all the time.
@@googiegress ya it would be super creepy, and like if someone ripped the hand in half or a dog got it
It is called phantom sense and it can be pretty creepy at first (at the beginning you have to see it but after a long time it can even become that the person touching the replica can be 500 feet away and you will still feel a tingling where the person touches on your real hand).
research about it are divided if it is real or fake as it differs from person to person and mostly linked to the person accepting the replica to be the real hand.
That guy is already dead
When I see this I think of change and hope, the body that was chared is like a shell and the wings are braking free to show change and with the clear crystal part of the wings helps people to keep hope for a bright future

I loved this idea, and my kids loved how the video was funny, and it told them how to make a cool pair of wings

This entire sculpture is so beautiful. I feel like it tells many stories. I love it. Great job, Bobby.

My grandmother just passed away from Her fight with cancer last night, she had tested negative for over a year up until a few days ago it had just spread so fast that it only took a few days. It was really nice to wake up to your video and it really helped me to have a better start to my day. ❤
Sending prayers that’s really sad
I’m so sorry. Sending all of my love to you

Bobby this is simply stunning. Seeing the finished piece even through my phone screen brought up so much emotion. It is beautiful
Nobody:
1.4k people: *dislike because they're too jealous to see how amazing his art is*
lol
Even that santa scene is perfect. Simply jealous worthy.
he says he is an artist but he cannot estimate the proportions .. all the work for only a half-finished result .. i would be very dissatisfied with myself. and do it all over again. The sculpture is much too small for the wings .. The shape doesn't quite fit, .. it would be much better and would cost less .. so I can only say that it is badly made.
SP: we not from USA ^^ we got not so much brainwash like you all. ^^ maybe that´s why
@@PuffTheMagicDragon11B you’re so right. Especially who cause it’s an angel, a fictional figure so why does it has to be “proportional”. It’s the wings which make angels special so o think they should be exaggerated.
@@DasOhneEnde I would LOVE to see you make what he made, but make it "proportionate" I doubt you could make THAT sculpture, like, if you made what he made, you would be dissatisfied with yourself? 😂 Stop acting like: "OH iTs A fIcTiOnAl ChArAcTeR oF wHIcH hAs No ScIeNtIiFiC pRoPorTiOns. Its art that he put time into, angels are fictional and we dont know how big their wings would be. So there are no "CORRECT" proportions.
I'd love to see you make an almost exact replica of what he made but use the "right" proportions.

Imagine being so talented that when someone comes over to your house and asks "wow! where did you buy this?" you can turn around and say "I didn't. I MADE this".

can you imagine being his neighbor, and seeing that "horror" sequence out of context?....me and my mom would first ask if he was okay, then laugh our butts off upon finding out he did it for a joke- X3 but for real, AMAZING PEICE
It's probably perfectly normal to his neighbors at this point. I can imagine of his neighbors had someone over to visit:

My goodness! I’m speechless 😶. The first thing that came to my mind was the image of my brother who passed away in such a heartless manner. My brother was and still till this day considered to be an Angel to many many people especially those who are homeless.
I sure miss him so much and seeing your amazing piece of art took my breath away.
I would love to know how much do you sell these for? And if you do; would you be able to engrave my brothers name onto the plaque?
Thank you for showing us all your talent that God has blessed you with.
