On your beanies with the furry pompoms, the yarn is washable. Do you wash your finished beanies before selling them, without the Pompom? For every day wear can the beanies be washed with the Pompom?
Ive had one of these scrunchies that I have been using since last summer and have never had an issue. Just make sure you pull that knot super tight before sewing the ends together!

Sometimes I just pick mine up off the table and let the cord hang and it will unspin itself then I just start cranking again!

Use a safety pin to pull your elastic though the cord.
