This is why he is scared. He knows slim is a dangerous opponent, even if he believes he is way better than him. Slim is also unpredictable and can comeback from being behind with a single big punch, even with a weight disadvantage. If ksi were to lose to slim, it would completely destroy his boxing goals. The Jake Paul fight would be off the table, and the world would be convinced Jake is way better than him, which is what he wanted to disprove when he came back to boxing. Misfits would be fked as well, since their ceo was beat on his own promotion.
Ppl are overestimating his fight with tommy. He hugged him for most of the fight. There was little to no actual boxing exchanges.

Y’all need to relax on Slim bro. He wanted this fight since Misfits 01, when he finally got it it was in the form of a gimmick but he still accepted because of how badly he wanted the fight, and now he isn’t getting it at all. To make it worse, before they announced it was off cuz of KSI’s “injury”, he was only alerted to the fight being in jeopardy because KSI deleted the posts about the fight. When you look at it from his perspective it’s very disrespectful and his feelings are justified, yall would be disappointed too if that opportunity was snatched from you

I think in KSI statement he said that this injury was before the press conference that's why he wasn't enthusiastic during it as he was hurt. He tried going through camp but the injury got worse. Remember KSI fought with a broken nose and hand before.

Personally, if it’s true that he was offered the fight with AT, I think he should’ve just took it. If he won, he would’ve probably taken away the2 V1 aspect of fighting KSI whenever he gets healed up.
Listen! Slim seriously deserves the big fights! However, only through skill, but this ain't pro boxing. It's crossover, and having a presence on social media is almost more important, so up your game on that side, and you might actually get the big fights and draw a crowd. Another thing to remember also! Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Simple!
I think a lot of these guys are forgetting that point you mentioned, its crossover boxing and when you have DAZN controlling the cards, they have certain metrics they use to decided whether you are a good fit for a certain fight/card. Also Msifits is still in its infancy, roster is not as big so limited options on who to fight so of course Slim is going to have to fight against guys he may not be as interested in.

AT is a difficult puzzle to solve, but no one better than Slim to figure him out. KSI is a difficult fight for Slim as well, but when you’re that good & you have the best record in ALL of influencer boxing after Jake, you can never doubt him. Fair point but KSI does not decided who he fights and... DAZN have the final say on the fights and card lineup. The fact that KSI vs Slim was not a 1 v 1 to begin with just show that DAZN feel Slim is not a big enough draw to warrant a ppv headline fight.
Arguably, if the card was a stacked card, then potentially I would have thought KSI vs Slim 1 v 1 but as we now know this is not the case.
Would be a good fight skill wise to see in the future but given it's a business I doubt we see KSI vs Slim happening unless Slim ventures outside of Misfits to grow his brand and socials whilst still fighting on Misfits, podcasts, brand deals etc.
Thing with Slim is yes he deserves big fights, after KSI the most talked about name within misfits is Slim,salt papi etc but Misfits is still in its infancy and with a relatively small roster still, you are inevitably going to be limited with options on who to fight. Yes by all means if he does not like the options dont fight but his large periods of inactivity are hurting his star power imo, his socials are not that great either.
I still think he should get big fights given he only has arguably a storyline with Gib but who knows if that ever happens
