He was just saying things on the spot trying to remain as assertive as possible and rushing his lines, almost like he was desperate to get a point across that he couldn't even think of... A more assertive opponent who would be more willing to try and talk on that level probably would've brought up how weirdly bad JJs trash talk was

Alex is very smart and efficient with the way he throws plus look at his physic the guy got some talent
At the end of the day, JJ knows how to sell tickets and entertain, as does Logan and many other TH-camrs during face offs. However, it was clear that Wasabi was expected to read the room and meet JJ’s energy, but he did not. Which is why JJ came across as dominating the discussion and wasabi came across as disengaged (that, and he has adhd). Realistically, resources or not, they both train hard. But JJ is naturally a heavier weight class and more experienced, even when he gets down to Wasabi’s weight class he will still have the strength of his previous weight class. The odds are JJ will win.
I didnt like how KSI acted in the press conference. He just seemed weirdly big headed and i get that u need to be confident and u probably dont like the guy but have a bit of class mate.
How's it weirdly big headed when that's how he acts every single time...
Bro he’s selling a fight
Imagine how boring that face off would have been if he hadnt had been though.
You do realise this is his act he does every time for his fights
This is clearly your first time seeing KSI
hey geordie hope ur doing great man!
very good analysis by Brian, this bloke will never cease to amaze me
You’re easily pleased aren’t you
Mike Tyson would cry before fights because he was SCARED of what he was about to do to his opponents. Lol imagine
Very detailed reaction, cant wait for the fight
Wasabi really trying his best not to sell the fight 😂😂
Ksi did say Alex is a nobody. So he’s probably thinking why does a nobody need to promote for the king ksi
@@Hakwbebsu26 I would have assumed alex wasabi would get some share of the PPV so it would be in his best interest (financially) to also make the fight a success.
@@Hakwbebsu26 If that nobody is getting paid to promote, and isn't promoting, then he'd be a pretty big idiot to be thinking why does a nobody need to promote for the king when said nobody is getting paid for the promotion that he signed to.
This face off made me think that JJ is actually not that confident about beating Alex . He played a character before but this just felt like he was panicking and trying to convince himself .
KSI talks like some amazing boxer when hes only fought Joe Weller, Logan Paul and now Alex Wassabi, people criticize Jake when he has at least fought ex MMA champions while Ksi has fought nobody
I mean jake fought gib Nate and Ben who could only wrestle
EX FUCKING ACTLY
Yeah that's nice and all but you're stanning for Jake Paul.
Ex MMA champions that are known for wrestling. UFC fans been clowning Askren and Woodley's striking for years. If you kept up with MMA, you would know that.
Never forget Jake ducked JJ when JJ originally called him out lel
This is dope, remembering all the old moments from past events, can't wait for this
Lot of confidence but I thought it was funny how much he tried to downplay the southpaw thing then immediately says how he’s gonna keep switching on wassabi.
Great video, better than the actual face to face
Alex normally does those movements even in regular interviews and it was some Vidcon or something on stage where he did the same thing so it's just his mannerisms and good if he teaches his body to relax at all times.
I think it makes him look tougher and if anything gearing up for the fight...
“Tough” and “Alex Wasabi” should never be in the same sentence
Fantastic video geordie
I think this fight will be a lot more competitive than everyone is making out
Great video Brian
This could be 2 to 3 things
The origin story of alex becoming the villain
- the loss or slip of ksi which right now seems unlikely
- Ksi and alex settling it for good.
With the dark background and the dark tshirt, geordie just looks like a floating head
C'mon man if Jake beats Hasim, i don't even want to see their fight, they're completely on different levels.
Didn’t he cancel the fight
@@joshentertainment2 yea lol
the jake fight will happen it’s too big of a money fight to not happen not to mention boxing maths don’t work like that lol
@@awex7 i know it will happen, can you explain "boxing maths" to me ? Looks like you know more than me.
@@newbie0390 there really isn’t none boxing math only doesn’t work on high level boxers but jake Paul is miles ahead of ksi right now idk why ksi fans want to see it happen😂
Man… seeing that video of Gordy saying stop really shows how much he has been working out sense then, what a beast
I like that you give Alex some credit. Although I don't think he'll win. For his first fight, he showed a strong showing. And a base he can definitely improve upon.
I sure do love your reaction to these 😆

I agree with Geordie that Alex will surprise everyone and to everyone saying JJ is too confident he's just selling the fight I hope JJ wins but imagine JJ losing
to discombulate the whole "overly aggressive argument" conor was also overly aggressive before the aldo fight. He smacked him up in 13 seconds.
KSI fighting Alex is going to prove that him fighting a “nobody” and getting more ppvs than Jake will make KSI the a side
Not really. Jake Paul agreed to every ksis terms and ksi still was scared
@@grevengriff8609 jake asked for 15M
Finnally someone being neutral and saying alex was being calm...and not scared to death to speak, some ksi fans go wild in comments bro
KSI talked these delusions of grandeur when he was against Logan Paul about how he no longer swings but he reverted to type when under pessure. He won't brawl against wasabi because he won't be tested. Doesn't mean he's good.
JJ did a damn good job selling this fight all things considered.
This guy loves the sound of his own voice.
I think JJ’s villain act looks so silly when the opponent isn’t going along with it.
Why do people talk as if KSI were the best boxer ever? Jaky boy has fought tougher competition...I'm just saying 🙄
true georgdie is the most reasonable person on the planet
KSIs trash talk was... poor to say the least. A lot of the time he was either saying a whole lot of nothing or reiterating a point he made earlier. He was just saying things on the spot trying to remain as assertive as possible and rushing his lines, almost like he was desperate to get a point across that he couldn't even think of...
A more assertive opponent who would be more willing to try and talk on that level probably would've brought up how weirdly bad JJs trash talk was
8:28 your words just made me predict the fight
Alex seems like such a good guy, hope he takes the win! Always love an underdog story.
😂
We need a pod with ksi before the fight
to be honest i hope jj walks his talk. alex seems extrenely genuine
we are going to see a much more energetic ksi this time, similar to the joe weller fight when he last had a fight at his normal weight. hes fighting light now. plus 2 years of boxing training mean hes going to be a lot better.
A lot of KSI fan boys keep saying Alex was quiet because he was "scared" if that's true then Manny Pacquiao was shaking in his boots his entire career 🙄🙄
Bro compared manny pacquiao to Alex wasabi
Spot on, what a video
With being a home crowd I think the only way Alex can win is with a KO, which I can’t see happening. That being said, despite me rating JJ big time, it would be legendary if Alex done something spectacular.
Great video
Just about to watch. If Brian doesn't call KSI out for being an unconvincing try hard then its a shame.
My thoughts exactly
ksi sounded like a bad anime villian here. none of his lines landed
@@markusrussell1779 fr and he went "after the fight you're going to think "maybe this fight wasn't worth getting knocked out infront of my little bro"
and then when he's asked to repeat it he goes "maybe you're going to think "this fight wasn't worth getting knocked out infront of my little bro"
it just seemed like he prepared these lines and there all so cringe, when he messed up, ong i cringed so hard
Still makes me laugh man True Geordie told every bam at the boxing event "i will turn this boxing match off Right now!"
Love JJ, never even heard of Alex till now, but from that interview, never ever felt that much second hand embarrassment for JJ, cringe af
Great upload
The reason why JJ is so cringe is because he is trying to force the fight talk and Alex is coming across a little better because he's being real. I do think Alex was weak on certain responses but he came across a little better than JJ in my opinion
Yeah i like jj but im not sure why he took this approach. Like it makes more sense to say a couple of things that hurt and stings your opponent then it is to constantly say im going to do x or y or just waffle for 20 minutes. It just felt like a chore to watch through all of that
thats the thing tho, was alex's demeanor on purpose or was it because he really has no confidence in himself
well. KSI was trying to sell the fight. if KSI for the whole interview said "OMG I LOVE ALEX SO MUCH I CAN HOLD HIS DICK FOR HIM" would that sell out an Arena?
@@samt7676 alex isn’t doing a thing to sell the fight and is being boring. ksi is trying to sell the fight and has to make up for alex being useless on the promotion part of it
@@ho11ywood81 ksi has to do that in order to beat jake in paper view money lol
I hope Alex will watch this. It will help him a lot for the fight.
Ksi isn't coming off confident though lol He sounds forced and it's hard to watch, I can't find him entertaining in this when it feels so fake on his side.
I don't know this wassabi guy but I'd find it irritating sitting through that face to face.
"There's nobody like me, THE FEAR IN YOUR EYES UNDER THE NIGHT SKY MUHAHAHA" whilst clapping continuously. He's trying to sound intimidating but it sounds like a PG 13 Disney villain
Some other quotes
"I can go to 175" lol and then a moment of silence
"You don't have that OOOOMPH that killer instinct that me and Jake Paul have" never cringed so hard
"I beat Logan Paul because of my brain" lol he won due to a 2 point deduction
👍
we all know a few months after the fight KSI and Alex Wassabi gonna be friends
I'm hoping Wassabi wins because it will be a crazy upset but I think KSI will win that way we can see KSI VS Jake Paul. KSI vs Jake Paul will do better then KSI VS Logan 1 & 2.
Ksi vs Jake will be the most watched boxing match since Ali. Easily
@@tomshaw5025 no 😂
@@tsgrapiidz6970 it’ll do millions of ppv buys, dunno why you’re laughing

Dude.... since you pointed it out, all of see is his nose! Lol.
You know True Geordie is a casual when he says Jake Vs KSI will be the biggest boxing fight of the decade.
He should include TH-cam, then he's spot on.
If would do easily over 1 million ppv
Floyd vs Manny reached 4.6 million PPV buys in 2015. It likely won't reach near that level in PPV buys, especially since younger audiences are unfortunately more savvy to finding illegal streams. (Who can blame them if Jake would want to charge $60 minimum?) But in terms of the online following and hype, Jake Paul vs KSI will 100% surpass media attention, shares, trends, likes etc. from any fight before. It'll be the most talked about event for a very long time; maybe not for hardcore boxing fans, but certainly for the generation so embedded in social media culture.
in terms of attention definitely the most biggest but not in ppv buys
He didn’t say that though. He said it’ll be the highest ppv of the year barring tyson and Joshua.
Geordie’s reaction is so much better than Simons, shows that he’s actually an alpha male while Simon is not
Anyone other than wasabi could have smoked Ksi in that face to face. Ksi was literally tripping up on his own words and seemed like he was trying more to convince himself of his greatness than anyone else
Ksi is trying to sell the fight
Exactly!!, especially when Alex asked him abt the rematch clause…
@@ervin2518 yeah I get that, just poorly executed and was lucky that his opponent didn’t have more whit, most people could have picked Ksi apart
