Great pickups Jim i would love to see you try and repair those double slips i bet that would be a interesting job. Me being Dutch i can appreciate a good windmill. take care - Matt
Hi Matt , I hope you are all well.....thanks... Yeah I did manage to pick up two mint condition fleischmann double slips from a seller on eBay but I will be attempting repairing the plastic dimonds with black resin two part marble filler .
Nice video 👍 That loco was an absolute bargain £75 quid for ESU sound fitted 😲 you can't even get the decoder for that well done. Love the buildings as well they look really good on the layout 👍 Keep these videos coming they are inspiring me to get my layout built, just got to stop buying train bits on E-bay then I can afford to get the shed built 🤣🤣🤣
Hi John, Many thanks for your comment. Yeah I bought a few high quality locos at stupid prices with built in decoders...the problem is when I spot a pile of second hand items in a shop at give away prices I just end up spending way more then I intended... Yeah get your shed sorted...P.s if you can install thermo insulation in your shed e.g kings span 20mm -30mm fome sheets cut to shape it makes a big difference in the summer and winter...more cost thow....
Great vidi, Jim! Wow, VOllmer track is getting very hard to find- nice haul. You found a BIG loco and some really nice Kibri kits to pop in places, the end bank being the star. I can't wait to see your windmill up (which reminds me, I shoulkd start repairing the motor on mine and get it running for a lark). I liked the crane addition, too= that is such a cool "toy" for a shipping yard area! Take care and stay well!
Hi Anthony, Yeah The Fleischmann track is sky rocketing in price I have a lot of spares now..those double slips can sell up to £100 each brand new now if you can find them. Kibri-faller-vollmer, I normaly do not buy second hand plastic prebuilt kits as most on ebay have a poor build but the batch I got was superb..in fact I am going to buy some more today. I may do a speed build vid of the wind mill and the install of the motor. The crane steel coil jib is amazing custom made on a 3d printer..I am going to order the coil stands also for the yard. p.s I did watch-listen your stream in the background last night but I did not comment as I was busy with the layout and packing items I sold on ebay...
Hello and good evening, it’s really hard to get Fleischmann Profi Gleis spare parts, especially double slips and points, you‘re a lucky one to get these for free!! I’m looking into a change from FL Profi Gleis to either Roco or Tillig hO, but it‘s a lot of work ahead…have a good time! Krgds Rainer
Be sure to get yourself a lot of spare Profi points, as these are out of production now, and replacing them with other brands is equivalent to a full teardown and redesign of the tracks. And it sounds like both of your Ludmilla's are running an 'altbelüfted' sound set with the screaming cooling fans
Hi , lvo Van Zon ,Thanks for your info comment. Yeah I have quite a lot of spare fleischmann profi track now as I knew they stopped makeing it a while back...the prices are getting very expensive now.. Yeah on the Trix Ludmilla factory sound {set 21347} the basic sound chip is very loud..I tried to decrease the volume but with no luck on the c.v's. The Roco version is superior in build and detail I may of had the fan switch on ..well spotted.... Jim
@@ivovanzon164 Thanks for the info.. I did re install the v3.5 file for the Ludmilla class and the sound is a lot better On tick over..I think the prevoius owner adjusted the settings... Jim
