    Do you have advice for developing executive function in terms of participating in group settings for kids that aren't able to attend preK and have limited opportunities for structured peer interactions? My son struggles with executive function in general, but in group settings, he is straight up non-compliant, defiant, and refuses to participate in things he might normally not have a problem with at home. It makes me worried that even though he's very smart, he will not do well at kindergarten simply because he doesn't like being told what to do or is somehow embarrassed about doing those things around/in front of other kids.
