GRsmash Yo, I'm not sure what software you're using to edit this, but if you have the option to add an outer stroke to the number text, it might be a lot easier to see. Of course, if you're using Windows Movie Maker or something, I don't know if that option is available. Great video, though!

All of these clips were awesome... but the one where Dr. Mario teched a Falcon Punch should have been more than just an honorable mention. Through thousands of pages read spent on researching the all too powerful Falcon Punch, he learned how to survive it even at ridiculous percentages and managed to stay alive even in the face of certain death... Dr. Mario for Top Tier.

I actually know that kid tbh, I used to try to play Melee like 10 years ago but I wasn’t all that great.. My best characters were Mario and Roy and you won’t get anywhere with those guys in the current meta game. Anyway, don’t know the video to that match but the kids name is Ethan, his brother is also a smasher that goes by the name of SmokeyBluntz if memory serves. I’m sure if you search up his name you’ll come across it.

Speaking of which, I don´t get how this is considered awesome yet the warlock punch gets so widely despised that it was removed in 3.5
The float and reflector ideas on Ganon are awesome but it´s the button mapping that gets me. The on-ground cape could very well be neutral A á la Villager´s pocket, and the float could be either hold jump like Peach or hold upB like Mewtwo. There was no reason to remove the warlock punch other than uncloning Ganon for the hell of it, which is nonsensical coming from the Project M team, aka the guys who made Falco into his Melee self again.
The thing is that Falco and Ganon are two different situations. One is the strongest turning point, and pivot in which the meta revolves, while the other is not a very exemplary force in the meta. Falco has an established meta and the PMDT know that. Ganon, on the other hand, is not as advanced as falco and fox are, and besides, the point was to step the other low tier characters a little so that they are on par with Fox and Falco. Ganon was pretty high already, so they tweaked some things, and decloned him in the process, since anyways, he could have more usefull tools (and warlock punch was buffed into a taunt kill, and a lethal one)
The taunt kill is kinda clever as it mirrors Luigi´s only being the polar oppossite, which is cool, but you cannot do a reverse or an aerial with it.
I´m all for the new moves but there is virtually no reason to remove the warlock punch (again, float could very well be jump or upB) other than "Ganon should not have the pawnch just because fuck it".
Also, there are many nerfs in PM 3.5 which are nonsensical since, as you mentioned, the point was to buff the lowers and make everyone viable, while in 3.5 a lot of the changelogs were "modified X to match Melee". I thought PM was about buffing everyone not bringing back Melee´s flaws too? "Trimmed the fat" my ass, Fox and Falco are very good again while there are some inexplicable nerfs (like Sonic). It´s not a big difference like Brawl Metaknight, but the nerfs from PM 3.0 to 3.5 are unnecessary IMO.
Yes indeed, some nonsensical nerds seem undeserved, but if you take a look at the PMBR's mission on the creation of the mood, the removed a bunch of auto combos (lucas, pit, and lucario) and made every character orient more into offensive than defensive (Snake and diddy). Some characters like sonic, who gets nerfed all the time, is because his speed and mobility mashes very well with many of his other offensive traits, or that is what I think imo. Sonic has a long history of weird modifications and nerds, but they even nerfed Roy and DK because it was their mission to balance the game and polish it in every way possible. They nerfed Fox too, his all-glorious up-smash, just so he can be in par with the other chars too, which is quite an honest nerf. If they did it, it's for the sake of balance, character, and legitimacy. Yet the Ice climbers are still garbage (or undeveloped).

You make some valid points, and I understand the concept of balancing the game at a lower power level which makes more margin for error and further tweaking, but I had a very negative first impression of 3.5. The absurdly OP CPUs, whose only real flaw is being extremely suicidal, didn´t help either.
It has since grown on me but I still cannot get over the warlock punch loss. I mean, at least he now has the sword which is a fine replacement, odd button mapping aside, but I am baffled as to how everyone either does not mention Ganon´s massive change or is okay with it. I am truly trying to like the cape thing but I just can´t.
I will never get tired of watching that M2K vs ZeRo match.
