I looked at the betting odds as the polls were closing, and by the end of the night one of the candidates had a 0.1% chance of winning. That was only a tenth of a percent better than me, and I didn’t spend hundreds of millions of dollars campaigning. As far as the free world, I don’t know how exactly that is defined. But Neil Young told us all to keep on rocking in it.
Amen, brother. I suppose it is human nature to want to be part of a team and then of course, take that too far. My mother-in-law is waaaaaaay too invested in this election. I’m not looking forward to her mental state when this all shakes out. She is very disappointed that the wife and I aren’t voting. Oh well. Same circus, different clowns
@ when my kids were younger I told them that we’ve never had a woman president because the new president doesn’t just have to move into the White House, but has to use all official president stuff, so no woman would want to wear suits and men’s clothes, because that’s all there was in the White House. I miss the days when they were so young and trusting
Hello Joe, as a Canadian I am so tired of American politics. Here we don't get asked "Who are you voting for?" but rather "Who WOULD you vote for?". Like what!? If I say I'd vote for Trump I'm a racist and if I say I'd vote for Harris I'm an idiot. I swear people here care just as much if not more about American politics than they do our own. So I am in the same boat as you, who cares! It's not even my country and I can't seem to escape people wanting to discuss why one side is better than the other with me, I just want to chill man! Canada's got its own issues in parliament.
i confirm, people are apocalyptic by nature, and religious ideas worsen it, i come from a muslim background and i used to believe in this crap, now when i reason with my friends about war in the Middle East for example, at first i get the idea that they value human life, then later they start cursing and wishing death upon the other party of the conflict. i think religion should be like alcohol, you need to be 18+ to start reading it.
I enjoyed ur rant Joe, Makes sense to me, gonna have a beer or three !!
