While Japan has a very visible culture of respect when it comes to senior status in it's social hierarchy, it's not a thing particularly unique to Japan, infact you can find similarly strong culture of respect for senior status among other Asian countries, including Indonesia..... so, I really think this is just a special bond between Sora and Iofi since other ID members do show respect to Sora.

Technically she still has the weatheriod girl, a blogger vtuber whose technically still active since 2012 and is probably the oldest active vtuber (by debute not age), doujin artist/creator of multiple vtuber groups/ and suposed war criminal Eilene, and one of the "big 4 of vtubing" siro left but sora is actually the 5th oldest living vtuber (by debute and use of the same character and model) and only a few months older than Iron mouse and zen actually
It's weird to look at but there's only like 20 vtubers of any note before sora I'm sure there's a few indies missing from the early days where they came and went with no real impact on the market or possibly were "reborn" as other talent were they did make a mark but she realy is a pioneer I general

well i mean technically in 2D-livestreaming concept, she still had like tsukino mito as her senpai, as mito technically the first ever vtuber that popularized that kind of streaming, but in overall; since kizuna ai coined the term vtubing; almost no one.

Shiori (in her past life) is afaik the oldest EN VTuber out of everyone, with only technicalities of Nyanners & Ironmouse making their accounts ahead of Shiori’s past life before her. And yet Sora is still older than Shiori by a few months.
Really, we need the 3 Goddesses of VTubers to come back. The Lesser Goddesses of Mirai Akari & Kaguya Luna, and the Great Goddess Kizuna Ai. Those three are really the only ones Sora could call as Older Sisters or Mama.
I think one of the downside to vtubers is the disconnect from the character and the real person. Sometimes I think one day I’ll be in my 60’s and I’ll somehow still have time to watch Sora stream, like how I’m sure there will still be Simpsons episodes airing then, but I know that will never happen.
