Hey Clint, this is a great video...♥️ I have seen most of your work on TH-cam and I really like it. You are a good actor and brilliant vfx artist! 😊 Glad that TH-cam finally recommended this channel. Sending love and good wishes, more power to you.. Keep doing great.
This was awesome! Great work. I use blender but learnt heaps from this. The way you explain the process is very well done. That's the part I appreciate the most. The thinking behind things and why you're adjusting elements. Materials was very cool. Keep it up
Thank you so much for this! You are an amazing teacher. I have always struggled with how to composite my models into my footage to make it look realistic, because something always looked a little off. This was extremely helpful.
I've been watching you since you made the tracer effects in after effects on my old youtube channel until now. Your also the reason why I'm into film photography. Thank you so much Sensei Clint.
Down!! It takes a minute cause there’s a lot of problem solving through the process. It was all edited out in this presentation, but it‘s definitely an educational process.
It's been super hard to find good VFX tutorials for C4D, ever since i got the student license it's been a real struggle, but this tutorial is awesome. Many thanks for your work!
This is an awesome vid, thanks so much for all the videos you put out, it is such an inspiration for me to try new things in my filmmaking style that I wouldn't be able to normally. You're the best!
Really like this tutorial. Would love to see you do one using Redshift all the way through, as I haven't been able to figure out some of the Redshift equivalents of sky/chrome ball, and it wasn't clear to me from the end of your video here how to get those equivalents when you set up your lighting earlier in the video.
I thank you very much for this video! It was great to see and hear clearly the steps to take when integrating CGI into real video. You explain super well and everything is perfectly understood. My new sensei!
Hey buddy, awesome tut! at 10:45, is there an easy way to flip the whole thing upside down? My figure appears heads down, and altho it might a good season to go swimming, it's not what I intended to do. Thank you!
I know you from "VFX Core Concepts 101"... And i know when ever i watch your vdos i will definitely learn something new. i use different tools. but still i will watch your vdos to learn new things.
Really awesome breakdown of your process Clint! You mentioned doing your motion blur outside of Cinema. I'm curious what software/plugins you use to do that?
Hmmm i dont know if my wordage was correct. I meant you want to render your images with motion blur “inside” of c4d. Meaning your motion blur should be baked into your render.
Right on. Was just curious because blur can be a big render hit so thought maybe you were using Real Smart Motion blur or something. Was super impressed by the domino video you guys recently dropped which has a ton of blur. Thanks for the response!
Great video. I’d be hesitant myself to adjust the gamma and saturation of the HDRI in your 3D scene. If things look too saturated etc then colour correct the render as a whole, knowing that it was lit exactly as it was shot.
I hear often that you saying (in all of your tracking videos) this feaure point is the 2D track point. But it´s not. The Features are in 3D and the tracks are in 2D
I'm learning CG compositing and at the moment color spaces are driving me crazy. I've been trying to learn about ACES and linear workflow, as it seems especially crucial when working with LOG footage. But it appears that's not part of this workflow? This looks like you're using LOG footage, but I guess you're just matching your CG values to your footage by eye and with the color picker? Have you run into any issues on account of this?
thanks for the great tutorial hope we can have an object tracking tutorial in the future~would like to see you in a cg costume like iron man or something looks cool!
Really great video Clint, but... weren’t you on vacation man? Pull the plug and relax a couple of weeks dude. Thanks for the video though, was really cool c:
Mind blowing tutorial Clint.., Thank you very much for teaching stuff like this. its really helps how to use your 3D models into the live footage Thanks, thank you very much.. You're the great VFX artist... being a color blind you are doing photo realistic renders though..,that's awsome man Keep it up with your work sir. May GOD always bless you and your lovely family ..... love from India Stay safe and stay healthy
Hey Clint!! First of all thanks for all the C4D videos. You and the rest of Corridor Crew has been so inspirational for me 🙏🏼💕. I always notice you wearing a wrist splint while working. Is it because you get CTS (Carpel Tunel Syndrome)? I have been working a lot and recently encountered it, so just wanted to know boss 😊!
Awesome video, I’ve been watching corridor crew religiously for the past few months and always find the short tutorial-esque sections of the videos super interesting to the point that I started following some blender-guru tutorials. Although I’m not at a level yet to follow this and use the information it in blender, it’s awesome to watch an in depth tutorial from someone who introduced me to this new hobby. Keep it up man!
Thnx man i was using different software for tracking and then importing it into Maya .I never used C4D it will save my time and will make my work flow easy
22:40, I'm not an expert at modelling but I gave it a good go some time ago, but is creating new primitives and placing them inside each other the correct way to create an object like this? I ask this because I could never tell when it was okay to do this so even modelling simple objects became needlessly difficult for me. Does it really make a difference at all, lighting? Visible seams? I guess if you were to make an rigged and animated object, it would matter, right?
Honestly one of the most complete workflow overview I've ever seen, this is invaluable information!
So glad you think so!
Exactly... it dosent even matter what software you use... one of the best materials for learning online! Congratz to pwnisher
Probably one of the best and most complete tutorials of Octane and C4D
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great tutorial. I’m amazed at how similar Blender and Cinema 4D are, I don’t know why but I always thought that they were super different.
Dude awesome to hear! Yeah man these programs all do the same thing basically.
Jones you're my favorite actor of all time. You simply always have the best personality on set.
Hahaha many many thanks my friend.
This video is so refreshing and great - real content with depth and not just disguised ads with high level commentary.
And that ladies and gentlemen is the best C4D tutorial on TH-cam hands down! Clinton Jones you are a legend, thank you good sir!
Aaaawwww that’s very kind. Spread the word and share the tut!!
Learnt many things from you sir....
Congs bro looks crazy
Ever since 2015 I’ve been obsessed with finding the best 3d motion tracking tutorial. We got it baby thank you love u

Copy that again
Nice work! You are so talented!

Man as Always Love your Vids And They all Are Very Informative
now we know Clint is colorblind... now some of your work is even more amazing to think about
I've been watching you since you made the tracer effects in after effects on my old youtube channel until now. Your also the reason why I'm into film photography. Thank you so much Sensei Clint.
*bows deeply* it’s awesome you’ve stuck around this long. Happy to have you.
I'm a Blender user, but I still watch your videos, because it gives so much general CG knowledge.
Thank you for uploading it on youtube. This is also the most perfect video I really wanted to find/learn
The highlight and shadow adjustments were great tips, thanks Clint!
I'm new to this and that opening on how to integrate your model into live-action footage by planning out your shoot was really helpful. Thank you.
Absolutely.
Awesomee mann! Thanks for showing this in-depth workflow and teaching like a boss!
Wow. It’s amazing seeing your workflow and all the problems that you have to overcome
thanks for making this !!
Loved this! would love to see more tracking all the way to compositing effects on your livestreams!
Down!! It takes a minute cause there’s a lot of problem solving through the process. It was all edited out in this presentation, but it‘s definitely an educational process.
@@pwnisher Totally get it! I've loved the few you've done so far but I understand they're probably more intense lol

Great vid I loved your work in the domino video
Thank you friend.

As a C4D vfx / mograph designer, this was refreshing to watch. A few small tricks that I'll be implementing into my workflow. Thanks!
Really like this tutorial. Great tutorial! hope to see more quality content from you
I thank you very much for this video! It was great to see and hear clearly the steps to take when integrating CGI into real video. You explain super well and everything is perfectly understood. My new sensei!

Why am i even watching this? I use Blender.
A lot of it translates, well... All of it does
Hahahahaha!! Hope you can take away some stuff for use in blender.
@@pwnisher I use blender and i see tuturial of after effect or cinema 4d.
I use Blender and Hitfilm Pro. The compositing part was the most useful for me.

Loved it
yeaaah 🥺❤️❤️❤️
