I love grilled prawns and lobster but I have t ask why do they add cheese. I find cheese in all sorts of products these days. I prefer not to have cheese and I wonder how one would convey that in Thailand if one does not speak the language. I know when I last in South East Asia cheese was not served with grilled prawns or lobster. That was nearly 40 years ago.
Cheese is very tasty and delicious so thai peoples added cheese somuch it's good
as a Thai, we do not eat cheese in river prawns
I agree when I was living in South East Asia in the 1980s. I served in the NZ Army and we had an infantry battalion based in Singapore I never had lobster, prawn or crab with cheese. I wonder if it is an American influence as they love cheese wth everything. Here in New Zealand I find difficult t get a play steak pie. There are only a few place that sell them or somehow they are classed as gourmet pies with the appropriate price.
