To everyone watching this: TST sells plug and play harnesses for aftermarket turn signals for less than $10 a set. They have 3 - 2 and 3 - 3 options. In case you’re wanting to retain your oem stuff for later resale
I really hate to lose the constant on that the OEM lights have. I wonder why Yoshi doesn't design this with a 3 wire system. It's been statistically proven that triangulating the lights on the front of a motorcycle helps to aid oncoming drivers from knowing a motorcycle is approaching them and it helps with depth perception. Otherwise from a distance you look like a car with one working headlight, which can throw off depth perception. Yoshimura, please design these with a 3-wire system just like the factory setup!
Just got a 22 Grom in blue. Ordered this kit and Yoshi's rear kit with the relay and bracket. Also threw in their race graphics "Motul" style kit. I'm hoping the relay that came with the rear LED signal kit will suffice for both the front and rear lights; they mention that in one of their videos. Haven't decided on fender eliminator kit or exhaust yet. Bike still has 0 miles on it lol. Your Grom looks awesome man. Definitely kept me from Ebaying mine to hell and back.
Yes, you only need to replace the one relay and it's good for running LED on the front and rear. If you're going to run the Yoshi rear LED turn signals, you should get their fender eliminator kit, the TST one doesn't have provisions for turn signals. Sounds like you're setting up your bike well, get out and ride that thing!
About those clip-ons. The tube that sticks out towards the center line of the bike...Cant that be cut off and maybe some plugs put on, or perhaps some expanding plug with a button head screw for a more factory look? Neat idea, but personally, that issue would bother me. OR...are you leaving them there for some accessory mounting point?
If you look at some of my more recent videos with the bike I cut them off to be more flush. For a while I left them on thinking I might use them for gauges but much cleaner cut..
Coming on nicely and looking forward to taking delivery of my black one. Can you or anyone tell me the brand of the bar end mirror you have? Thank you, a small bore rider in New Zealand
@@eastcoastish ok thanks for your reply. Quite keen to get some decent ones. Enjoy your reviews and good to see another guy that has both a new Grom and Monkey like me…as well as other nice rides! Cheers, Instagram @brandsguy
Yeh, still have them and they're great. I'm running the ASV F3 levers on the Monkey and size and shape are very similar. You can't go wrong with either lever setup.
This was a cheap Amazon mirror. I’ve since replaced it with a CRG Exo LS mirror. I show it briefly at the beginning of this video th-cam.com/video/odJoH37xtPQ/w-d-xo.html
Did you change the relay for the LED lights? If not they won't flash. Not sure about the high beam though, as long as you plugged the main light harness in there wouldn't be any reason why that wouldn't work...
@@eastcoastish I also just ordered the dual exhaust. They told me that I was 61 in line for it but that customer orders will be shipped first so that makes me actually 9th. You’re probably close to first on the list to get it. I’m hoping it will work with the piggyback Ohlins as well whenever it gets released from Ohlins for the 2022.

Living vicariously through you until I can get my hands on a grom.
Just the two of us!!!

Looks good. That dual high mount exhaust is going to be fire!
Holy crap you ordered the dual exhaust?! 🤯
That's going to be awesome. Hope it's worth the price
I’m ordering the RS-9T dual myself for my SP I’m picking up Friday. Yosh is saying November delivery on the exhaust.

Your envisioned setup make me want to change my envisioned set up 🤯 Props 👍🏽
Ha, thanks man!!
my garage will look like this eventually 💸💸
Looks sweet! Nice work.
Excellent build. Any plans for mirrors? I'm thinking about CRG Arrows since they seem to fit the aesthetic.
I'm running a cheap side mirror for now but i'll check out the CRG Arrows, thanks!

I'm just running a single, cheap one from Amazon for now: www.amazon.com/Bumbee-Universal-Motorcycle-Bar-Mirrors/dp/B093S46JRR

Great video, thanks.
Still running these womet-tech levers? What is your review? They look like a solid upgrade.

TST makes good stuff. Have them on my ninja 300 and wr250r. you see the Honda graphic kits they have for $129?
TST is great, and I have one of those graphic kits on the way, stay tuned!
Great video. Yosi could have done that a lot easier on the customer, so you don’t have to fiddle so much with it
This is the first video with this bar end mirror. What are the details on it? Thanks.

Thanks for your sharing 😊
Did the exhaust do anything for the top speed?
Top speed went from 60mph when I picked it up to about 65mph now; not sure how much that has to do with the exhaust vs. the engine breaking in though.
I believe I’ve hooked everything up correctly but cannot get the lights to flash, also my running light and high beam no longer work? Any ideas?
Did you change the relay for the LED lights? If not they won't flash. Not sure about the high beam though, as long as you plugged the main light harness in there wouldn't be any reason why that wouldn't work...
Yeah got the relay in and the XBlaster seems to flash.
Should note that I have the abs model, not sure if that makes a difference.
Do you have a link to the stand you use for your Grom or have a recco for one?
www.amazon.com/Pit-Posse-Motorcycle-Stand-Paddock/dp/B000VBOTSM this is the one I've got. It's great because it can lift by the swingarm, or spindles.
@@eastcoastish Awesome, thanks for the quick reply and recco!
Just levers or perch also?
levers only, stock perches.
you couldn't turn them on to see what they look like?? why end the video there
Does the dual exhaust work with the fender eliminator kits?
I assume so but we'll see once I get mine.
@@eastcoastish It definitely works with the Yosh kit…. as I called and asked them. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with the TST.

You forgot test the lights
Don’t care for the bars at all but might work good for someone 5’4” and 160 lbs
Should of got flush mounts
Maybe you should have done it right, rather than do a video showing people how to do it wrong. Nice outfits. LOL
What part did you think I did wrong?
This fellow is man enough to show others how easy it is to make a mistake. You should be glad he's doing so.
I wonder if this guy actually rides, or if he just installs parts and thinks he's cool?
I live in FL man, I ride year round.
