- This is a reaction video to Otyken performing "Kahn Blues", a song written by the group. The song is everything you would expect from the Otyken. Great rhythms, excellent vocals, unique sounds from unique instruments and a fantastic video. So there is a wild what sounds like a guitar solo in the song. From Otyken's Instagram page, the answer to my question in my reaction about the guitar sounding solo is the following:
'In the new single "Khan Blues" Otamay will play a special role. Her string musical instrument khomys will be transformed through distortion for electronic sound. Otamay will play rock and roll!'
So those sounds came from that 2 string instrument. Amazing ... and Enjoy ...

"Otyken" [O-tu-k`en] is one of the best Russian "modern folk" groups. Their texts are in Khakass, Chulym and Russian languages.
Word "Otyken" in Chulym and other Turkic languages means - a sacred land where warriors would lay down their arms and talk.
