I love this song!!
I saw them back in 2011, in a really small show with like Maybe less 100 people. It was a small venue in west hollywood I believe, back then they were called "the ready set go!" And they opened up for a band called "avenue 52" And they were all really small kids. I kept hearing this song on the radio, and I looked up who sang it, and realized it was them, I was like "no way!'"
A band called Ready Set Go performed at my middle school pep rally, that was like 5 or 6 years ago. It was one chick and 2 dudes

Sydney could use some work on projecting her vocals a bit, but she's only 16. I'm sure she'll grow into it soon enough! Hayley Williams had similar problems when she first started performing. I'm excited for them to grow as artists!
Actually Sydney is singing perfect, singers who are too loud destroy their voices and get nodules. The purpose of a microphone is to project!
Rocker Chick Wait, so it's bad for your voice to sing loudly? I've always heard your voice is a lot like a muscle, where you need to push it and exercise so it'll grow and get more powerful so you have more range and dynamic. I've never heard that to be a good singer you need to only sing quietly. That seems a lot like saying you'll destroy your body if you work out because you're pushing it too far. There is obviously a sense of being careful not to push your voice too far, but singing loud isn't bad for your voice as a rule.
Garrett Vandenberg agree! She sounds very flat she has a beautiful voice but seems she sounds winded and makes her sound out of key.
She sounds really good to me , musician here for 30+ years.
The whole band is extremely tight, you can tell they have been playing together for awhile.

Well Sydney does have room for improvement on her voice and singing technique, but who doesn't, and considering she is only 16, that is already a pretty amazing talent. There is definitely much to expect from this up rising band!! Btw, Graham looks pretty cute when he plays haha calm but concentrated.
This is a great video. With Sydney on guitar it allows for a lot more freedom from the regular guitarist.
