Now 102 thousand subscribers! Congrats Matt on all your success. You are headed to the big time. Soon you will have a production crew and your pup will have a Hollywood agent to negotiate his/her appearances.
Peace be with you! Thank for range testing the Hovsco HovAlpha. On your Juice Joyrides TH-cam channel, perhaps you can perform an extended range test of one of the Super Fast e-Scooters you'd tested. Thanks again!
You are the only big name who reviews the underrated Hovsco E-bikes and those established bastards like Electric Bike Report are too busy reviewing inferior, subpar e-bikes they are getting sponsors from and have the audacity to call the inferior Aventon Sinch 2 as one of the best folding e-bikes of 2024! The Hovsco Hovbeta has been out for over a year now and is in every way, superior to the Aventon Sinch 2 except only the battery displays and that channel still hasn't reviewed it yet...shame on them! Keep up the great work!
Hello Matt, in your opinion, give me the bottom line, which is the best fat-tire e-bike in terms of performance, quality and bang for the buck. I enjoy your channel. Thank you!
Wouldn't mind seeing you do this run with the Philodo H8 ... would love to see those dual motors on these hills... but you'd have to pedal most of the way to save battery by only using the rear motor
In theory, a step through frame will not have as good handling as a traditional bike frame because a step thru frame has a little bit more flex to it. In practice when I’m riding an Ebike, especially when keeping it on the streets, there is basically no noticeable difference in handling. The difference in handling is gonna come if you’re doing off roading. Also since this Ebike has front suspension, the suspension is going to take the majority of the shock rather than the frame, minimizing frame flex.
American ingenuity at 10:12. The guy selling bottled water out of his carport. He's got everything set up quite nice. E.g., calling it "Last Chance Water," as if you are about to cross the desert. I wonder what you get for tossing a buck into that "$1 Information" bucket. Best line of the video: Matt saying to the water seller: "You could run a business just doing . . . " then saying "Well, I guess you kind of are man." I don't know why I found that funny, but I do. P.S. I wonder why he's selling Last Chance water for only $1.00 (probably tried a higher price and people were not buying).
I have a question for you I used your link and I bought a Yotobike, I turned it up to 18 amps which was the only apparent power upgrade I saw available, is there any other option I can do to give it more power?
I can smell hot electrics from here. Really you could just take us on tours using same bike and I’d watch them- entertaining. You should call this “regen hill” and reclaim some electrons if possible. Or just bring a Spare battery
A bit noisier than other bikes you've ridden... I've also noticed that some bikes have more rim/tire wobble. I'd have to imagine that's gonna waste some energy especially with wide tires.
Thus bike has way too meny issues I am a dealer and nothing but problems gives error code going up hills and the break bottom out ... And hobsco got horrible support..
"I had to stop because this guy had to stop at a stop sign for some reason" LMAO man I miss the West Coast people here in Detroit will just sit at a right I'm sitting there going it's clear it's clear you can go but go out to the suburbs omg you could practically wash your car on the roundabouts waiting for somebody to go if there isn't a stop sign I'm not stopping and if nobody's there i can care less if there is SMH DETROIT learn to drive
😲 Dear Matt, our favorite Ebike California Dude, thank you for proving: 1. To AVOID NON-Survivable & outdated "new" 48v ebikes on the market; 2. To AVOID NON-Survivable jurisdictions in the U.S.--especially those waiving Satan's Flag, and; 3. To KEEP our MOST-Survivable Wired Freedom & Wired Cruiser Ebikes--which, as just proven from this video and others, is STILL King of Ebikes in its class. Good video, keep up the good work. Thank you. *Pray for our nation.*
@mr.clueless7438 of course they do but they're supposed to cut off at 20. Admittedly some states ebike language implies no throttle at all but I think they meant to say no "working" throttle above 20.

Bike lanes alongside "door zones" of parcing cars next to it are ideal and safe right? :DDD
I've heard some people say step through frames don't handle as well as frames with top tubes. Have you experienced this?

Have you tested the Aipas M2?
Is the battery UL listed?
Love the Sutto torque motors. Does anyone know if Hovsco has an exclusive with them?

Pinks is awesome, I always grab their mushroom swiss burger when I'm in LA. Not the healthiest food choice, maybe that's why you don't know about it.
well done!

a bit of soapy water to reseat the tyre is all you need. My rear tyre was 'off' when i got it, 5 minutes to massage it right in place.
I’m dying to know what motor burned out please someone tell me.
Annioki
SHOULD I BUY THIS BIKE OVER THE AVENTON
Yeah
I could see $18 for a smoothie, if you juiced the fruit before blending. I can make a pina colada you wouldn't believe.
do you recommend any ebike that can carry children in the back and ride well in the beach sand. Thanks
hovsco hovcart

@@mikec4308 hovcart is 20×4 fat tire

Boss, I can buy one of your e bikes if you want with shipping paid by me
Bicycles with a throttle should be called motorcycles. Class 2 or nothing in my opinion.

Mashallah ❤❤❤
If you're throttling over 20mph you are not a class 3 bike.
Class 3 bikes don’t have throttle
