I used the diablo tuner and mine was cutting out in the 3-5k rpm range in 3rd gear so added more fuel and problem solved and runs great, mine is a 50 trim big turbo with a tial 38mm bov it was at like 20-21% so I took it to 27% and then she just drives smooth and pulls hard
Mine wasn't building proper boost and cutting out. Turns out my external wastegates diapraghm was torn, creating a major boost leak lol. And swapped plugs and good to go
Mine doesnt cut, but instead it backfires and does a little tire ‘skrt’ noise, at which point i let off. Same method that you did, rolling into it. Could be rolling antilag but idk. Car has a projected 530hp
So exactly what did it turn out to be i have the same problem with my 05 srt4 but mine sounds way worse if i press the accelerator peddle right away it jurks forward really hard and it sounds like huge pooping and no boost kicks in.
running propane on my 87 zuki swift and this is happening when boost builds up. and my ecu is disconnected so doubt its a sensor. dont need those with a carb lol. what are the coldest ngk plugs? running copper V powers now since they were out of the cheapest regular coppers. had this issue at wot running pump gas too but less pronounced.
i have this same issue but worse. I can hear my turbo start to spool and then it starts to bunny hop and misfire badly. Maybe my waste gate is messed up? I'm no mechanic but I feel like the exhaust might be getting restricted. I tried closing my plug gaps up but no dice. I can hear it start to spool and then it breaks up. I did have to mess with the waste gate when I took the turbo off to rebuild the head. I wonder if I messed it up when I twisted the shaft around.
If its not coil pack or wires or spark plugs cause im assuming you check those already then it maybe the camshaft sensor even with out a code, was the same issue with my buddies 05 SRT-4

New plugs, wires, stock coil, ecu, fuel pump, fuel relay mod, map, tip, tps. Solenoid bypass, short ram, cat-less side exit. For about two months now I've had this same issue. Only code I get now is P0037. But the both o2 sensors are basically brand new. Also I can't find anything wrong with the wiring. What else can I do? Please help, any ideas would be much appreciated. :)
Same issue here as well if I kinda ease into the gas evenly to build boost the turbo spools fine until the power try’s to get delivered and just loses power seems to be 3rd and up any solution?
mine does the same thing in every single gear if you go past quarter throttle I put new spark plugs coil pack and wires on it and it does the same thing and cam sensor and magnet

I had the same issue he can test the WG by getting off pcm control meaning line from turbo to WG no solenoid he shoulb be getting around 7-8 psi if that checks out then he's good there like I said go .40 on the plugs since he sounds like a stock turbo if its not that move down to cables and if not that then his coil these are the 3 main causes for a misfire

Ngk 4306 plugs fixed my issue and no more problems

Could be either the coil pack or the plug wires. If you check for boost leaks and don't have any, this check these two things.

Sounds like spark blowout.. set them at .028 and try again. Then. 026 then . 024 mine were at i think .022 before i got rid of it

Check your spark plug gaps need to close them, boost could blow it, need closed gaps to maintain spark working under boost
I got this same issue atm as well, always 3rd gear. Doesn't look like you check this though wondering what was wrong.

0.025 spark gap. Trust me!
Anyway I can check the camshaft sensor to ensure failure or out of range before replacing
Before replacing everything check plugs to see if it looks lean if it does then turn up your fuel in the 3-5k range
So spark plugs were the reason why this happened? My wrx does the same Crap.. Ugh! Still can't find the reason.

Yes, they are gap'd to high and your turbo is blowing that flame out.

Dangerous Fandango too wide...prob gapping it wrong or blowing the gaps on worn out plugs.......get new plugs and use a gapping tool.

You ever figure out what it was, I have a 05 running 18psi only in 4th on the highways if I creep into boosted its backfires and breaksup

Check for leaks on piping and vacuum
My car when I go full throttle only holds 5 psi? Anybody got some advice for me? Not finding any leaks with boost leak tester?
Check wastegate. Check for seal and cracks. Check for mechanical operation. Many neon manifolds crack
My old issue was cracked exh manny. But I'm bout to replace my tip/map sensor n see if that gives me my new issue a solvin lol.

I know this is old but Make sure the waste gate is just tight enough to hold the flapper shut. It is way overboosting.
Did you ever find out what was the issue I had gap my plugs at .35 and went away for a bit currently on e85 and 25psi of boost any clue
For some reason when I turn off the srt it goes away then later happens again !
Not sure if you have resolved the issues but I’ve heard for 25psi your spark plug gap should be at around .25

Bet your boost is either turned up to high or your wga is garbage.....

Problem but with bad popping I adjusted the spark plugs 0.35 and got new wires and now runnimg strong
Check ur tip sensors
spark plug blowout buddy set ur plugs at 0.45 gap and u'll be all set trust me
