Had the pleasure to meet Tia in Whistler 2019, a true gem of a human being! A fierce competitor on the field but the nicest person you could ever meet!
I love that you brought up Shane telling her to slow down on the peg boards because I’ve watched that so many times and wondered if you’d ever talked to her about it since then. I agreed wholeheartedly at the time!
For anyone wondering…. Dave cut out the bit where him and Tia discussed the egregious penalty applied to her step ups in the quarterfinals that took the win from her…. The queen reigns regardless 👸. LFG!
I wish that there were Crossfit games back in the late 1960's and early 1970's, I was perfect for that sport. Wrestled Jr, and senior high school and in college as a heavyweight. Ran mile and 2 mile as a sophomore in H.S. * 6' 0.25 ", 235 pounds, just uner 5.0% bodyfat, (Water tank test monthly) * 55 inch chest, 38 inch waist, 32 Inch circumference in thigh. * Used to bench 450+, leg press 1,100 + * Sometimes in the off-season morning 10 mile runs, I would finish in under an hour (that is 10 consecutive sub-six minute miles). I would lose 10 pounds in the summer, because all we did was run. It strips the upper body muscle mass for energy. Wreslting is the perfect base for crossfit. We are studs in aerobic and anaerobic events. In season: * 5 mile run in morning, almost always finished under 30 minutes * Weight training sometime in the morning sometime, 1.5 hours with coach pushing and monitoring you. (I always had to lower wieghts when lats lifted my arms off body. I add muscle really easily) * Practice usually 1.5 to 2.0 hours before season starts We were simply studs. There is nothing harder than trying to out-manuever or fatigue another athlete that is essentially your equal. No national titles, there was no upper weight limit back then. Chris Taylor went to the Olympics in 1972, 6" 5", 440 pounds. I could not get my arms around him to throw him. - The retired redneck accountant
I hope the workout is literally just the same Chad 1,000 almost every CrossFiter did last year. The dread the athletes feel about doing it, the dread we just saw all over Tia… yeah, that’s the shit. Gimme all of that.
Maybe the leaked open announcement workout just a few hours before, that was held at her gym. Or maybe she's thinking about Sean saying she was retiring and it was her final games in 2022 even though she wasn't.
She should have to wear a weight vest to even out the playing field. She’s the goat. The women’s division is horribly boring when she competes. It’s not even close.
I admire how good she is. I know people start hating the person who wins all the time. One day she is going to retire, it might be after this year or next.

She’s awesome and seems so down to earth
Tia is so articulate, knowledgeable and professional , but, also real …. Awesome @prvn
Was waiting for this interview. Love her energy. Thanks Dave. 😊
Tia seems to be a splendid person!
Awesome interview with Tia. Best one so far. Thanks Dave. 👍👍👍

It's very fitting that Tia has nearly 10,000 views already. ❤❤❤
She's amazing!
She’s back!!!

Tia looks gorgeous!!!
Tia is the best!
Not her convincing Dave to program a running marathon for the games 🤯🥶
Tia ❤
The best 👑💪🏻
Dave edited out part of the interview and, of course, that is what I am most interested in hearing . . . .
Which part????
Splendid
Go Tia! Bring back Sean Woodland.
Great interview.
Would love to see a marathon or a triathlon.
I love Tia! Such a strong and beautiful BEAST!!!! ❤❤❤

The Champ💪🏼
She’s so great.
Read her 2 books and got to like her even more.
Hope she nails it again !

Che bella Tia con i capelli sciolti
Wonder what that cut was about
Moms always cut their hair once they’ve “secured” a man and child.
@@V31lCl0ud I think he meant the video was edited at around the 4:54 mark lol
She probably accidentally admitted to using peptides lmao

I could see that, every 10 minute cap has another movement until finish.
Te tiene enamoradito eh Dave!! 😂👌🏻
What was Tia alluding to when she said “don’t I know” about the leak?

Tia look like the art or English teacher in grade school that no one liked. There is a reason why sponsors don’t try and sell her based of looks

Horrible spectator event
Cry harder.
@@iammstarrok thank you. I didn’t know what to do but because of you I do! You’re a life saver. I had a feeling I wasn’t crying hard enough
