    No tags on lumber how is someone know what it is

    Same thing Tony Garduque did every morning at HD store 3301 every morning for 17 years. No major biggie. BTW, the tags need to face out so the date is visible.

      is probably after 9 or 10pm or 11pm. Store close and turns to a full warehouse mode, no need for fence if store is closed.

      Happens to the best of us right? Funny story here:
      We got a new store manager at my walmart, and he asked our trainer if he’s the trainer, the trainer was like “yeah, I’m a cerrified trainer.” The store manager watches the trainer use the forklift only to see him drive it off the curb and get it stuck, to which the store manager proceeds to laugh his ass off.

      Sure but in our store we tend to barricade the entrances to the lumber department. Also it's an overnight shift so most freight team should be aware of heavy machinery in use.

    Work a real lumber yard and make a house frame and then load the Moffett or boom it was set to go on times 1,000 and then you shall have what it takes to be a proficient operator.

      @@kickyourfaceandlaugh607 I hope you're being a smart ass. if the store is closed people don't just walk into the lumber aisle and stand under you to pack freight out. they have no reason to be there. 3rd shift is about 8 people and that guy was probably by himself for 6 or 7 hours of it.

      @@codie4720 dude at my store our night lumber guy uses gates and so do I in garden. Just use them in case. You don’t want to kill someone and be in prison for the rest of your life.

    • @codie4720
      @codie4720 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kickyourfaceandlaugh607 fair enough I suppose. safety is key for sure, and most people that work for home depot never use lift equipment so they may not know. I've worked at a distribution center for years before the depot and they don't have gates there (at least at a Walmart DC). I suppose I'm used to everyone being aware of the danger rather than not, but everyone at the depot I work at now is under the agreement with me to stay out of garden for the most part if I gate off the two sliding doors to the outside garden. just gotta be smart about it check the aisle opposite to where your flying and yell freight is what I do. I never see anyone and if I do they stand clear when I say freight loudly. if they know what freight means (me flying product) you don't need a gate when they are standing out of the aisle. just tell someone what you're doing before you do it if you see them after you check. way faster than getting off a lift and pulling a ton of gates. just my opinion though. sorry if i offended you with the smart ass comment
