"use good lifting form" good lifting form is impossible to achieve on this machine. you're offset from the loading platform and there's a cage between you and the product. You're either reaching up, reaching down, or reaching sideways to handle product, because the railing occupies the space you should be grabbing product from.
Mine had an alarm go off today because a tiny piece of paper or plastic fell in front of it. Happened while I was elevated at least 30 feet in the air, and had to hit the big red button. The other Ballymore can't go up an inch or two without getting alarms and emergency stop. And the third can't go all the way down without it sounding like a car crash in the store, shaking my bones.
Yep. It will only drive at turtle speed while lifted. When in doubt though, lower it, then drive, but you can scoot from shelf position to shelf position easily.
I will definitely buy one when I gat my warehouse and use it to stock tires and wheels; I currently use one at Home Depot its the only thing I am certified to use
I currently work at Home Depot and getting trained on the Ballymore

Same thought I had when he mentioned that part.

Good, but didn't show how to hook up the safety harness. Guess I will find out soon as I have to use this machine
Is it allowed to use it with merchandise thats wider than the platform?
as long as it does go over 2 inches on each side of the platform
I’d use an order picker in that case.
can you drive it at any height?
Damn skippy you can
No. Drop it before driving.
