For me, one of my favorite scenes was toward the end when Higgins reveals that he thought she would go to Spain. The look on Thorton's face when the revelation hit him is priceless. That turned it around for him to have hope afterall.

I see you wrote this 8 years ago, my goodness, but you're right. I love when Thornton makes that connection and he goes from dark to light in an instant. It's lovely.
his lighted face, deep blue eyes, he smirking while he speaks about "a nice way to spend an afternoon" just like a man in love, to die for, I watch and watch and watch all over again
Love how his favorite scenes happen to be the most romantic ones for his character!
Good job, mr. Armitage! In life, those favorite scenes became realistic through acting. Good for you! My favorite parts.. when she kissed your hand... and your response. Love came alive....and alighted in your heart.... for us all to see. You were transformed in that moment. Can't get amy better than that, sir. I became your biggest fan in that moment. Love manifested and I felt it. The whole world felt it....thank you. Not enough of it in our movies. Love you.....

The sound of his voice gives me the shivers:D It is the most sexy voice I have ever heard; I could listen to him talk forever!
He narrates a lot of audiobooks, including books he's written.
I just adore how he speaks of his experiences with the making of the film. He is so magical.

He comes across as a method actor. Plays all his characters with the intensity, it deserves. Saw Stay Close, then North and South and now watching him in 'The Stranger'. Why are all such wonderful looking actors gay 😔😀

И всё это в сочетании с удивительным голосом, огненными глазами и яркой внешностью. Этот фильм обязательно будут пересматривать все последующие поколения.
Понравились артисты. Но лучше бы было больше времени для раскрытия характеров, как они пришли к финалу. Ведь на предложение был отказ... Возможно повлияло, что взяли на работу Хиггинса, а может потеря родителей. Остаётся только гадать 🥲
Там была основная тема спасения ее от следствия по делу брата. Это было основой.
