Respect to Silkk the Shocker! Always positive and building.
I don't know why they said he the worst.....I'm 41 years old and grew up on no limit....Silk was that fast talker that turned the club up... he was the reason people got hit in the mouth and beat down when his parts came on.....he was the reason a lot of people was walking the hood in skull caps in 100 degree weather....When that ShokkerAlbum came out with him comingout the tv with the pistol had tobe one of the hardest cover albums of all time...You knew that album was 🔥 when you played the first song and heard that electricity sound to start it off..Also let me be perfectly clear if it wasn't for No Limit investing creativity on album 🎨 art covers alot of yall wouldn't have the skills to do what they done because it was harder then than it is now because technology has made it easier for yall..No Limit is/was the only record Iabel that EVERYBODY can either sing or rap....havent seen no other company that did what P did.. Facts.... Yall had to know Silkk style to understand him
Factz!!! Silkk Is Tha Shoccer!!!! HE WAS 🔥🔥🔥 OHHHH IT AIN'T MY FAULT, YOU GON MAKE EM SAY UGHHHH IMMA MAKE EM SAY AHHHHHGGGGG C'MON NOW STOP HATIN ON SILKK
Finally someone said it🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Mostly he was never on beat... West and East coasters were never big on him. He has his moments tho, so I don't put him at the bottom of any list, but he's not a top 50 emcee tbh
HAHAHA🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥YES✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 NO FUCKIN' LIES
You have the ears of a fucking donkey…lol
Silk has never been a hater
The fact Silkk went gold and platinum was genius marketing from Master P. Always seemed like a good guy and was a decent actor
Can’t do nun but respect him
I've always been a fan of Silkk. What an awesome person with an awesome outlook and message!
I'm not a big "No Limit" fan, but I respect Silkk's attitude, outlook & hustle.
My best shocker song is the one with Master P, " Suburbans and Cadillacs"
Sillk definitely not da worst rapper of all time he had a different & unique style i rocked with sillk
Silkk had an awkward flow, but it worked at the time. He had some classics. He’s definitely not the worst rapper of all time.
YES HE IS.....
Yea he is the worst tf
Only yungbulls say that. They weren’t in the times. Silk was better than Lil Baby mumbling @$$🤭
@@mizking5033 ...BRO I WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AROUND THAT TIME, SO PLEASE BELIEVE I'M FULLY AWARE OF SILKK THA SHOCKER, & I SAID HE WAS TRASH BACK THEN TOO.....NOW WHAT ???
@@mizking5033 uh hell no silk sucked and his acting was horrible
Silk has never been whack. He sold records in an era when selling records meant something. It wasn’t about a gimmicks. It wasn’t about funny colored hair or self snitching on records.
.. FALSIFIED INDUSTRY OPINION
PEOPLES RUNNIN WITH IT
AINT NEVER HEARD AH SILK ALBUM
In todays time Silk the Shocker is Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Jay-Z put together, In 2024 its some horrible rappers out there way worse than Silk.
he had some good jams, that automatically takes him off that list
.. good jams ..silk had great albums 💯
@@aermax7321 right
What he say at the end of the video is a PERFECT REBUTTAL in a nutshell
No way he can be the WORST with 2 classic albums that stood the test of time
This generation z is SICK😂😂😂😂
Classic is a stretch
Lol at classic. Gtfoh
Bro I never heard anyone request Silkk or a track featuring him. Never heard dude in anyone top anything except being a wack rapper. Classic? 😂 not even a Southern or Louisiana classic.
@SOMEBODIES CRAZY AUNT well I guess I will have 🥛 to go with those words 😂
@@natsusatsujinki8342 men lie...women lie...numbers dont...go check sillk album sales solo & groupwise & he has REAL numbers from selling physical copies of cds from stores not this fake streamed made up s**t
He should drop another album right away...it would probably sell
Uhhhh in 2023?? When Mariah Carey can’t even sell Records???

Silk’s style is different and original, and he’s a positive person. He’s in my top 10.💯
In your top ten? 😂😂😂

Dats 🧢, he's not the worst rapper of all time.Lottas mfs just too slow to keep up
Silkk first album The Shocker & Charge It 2 Da Game were 🔥
He wasn’t the worst but he was one of them. Those are facts
Yo I still be bumpin “the shocker” featuring Master P and many other hits from No Limit. I’m still in the 90s and not leaving. Now go ahead and look that up 😜 and put it on the big speakers 🤙🏽👊🏽💯🔥
Was just having this combo wit my lil bro 2-3 weeks ago. He was very on beat, you just have to listen correctly like he said.
Let’s Get It Started……
There’s a reason Silkk had the closing verse🔥🔥🔥🔥
Because of his big brother
MAAANNN, GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
SILKK MADE THAT LIST FOR A REASON !!!
@@augustopanama8905 bingo
Afroman voice: "I just got shocked by Silk The Shocker.." 😂
His last album "It Will All Make Sense" he actually rapped on beat and surprised the hell outta me because it was 2018 and he made a great album
Yeah, it took 20 years, but he finally
was able to rap on Beat, Without stuttering.
Man, Silkk had some HEAT 🔥🔥🔥 Especially that first Album!!!!!!
⭐️ 4 minutes and 3 seconds and I got from this is: "Yes, I am the Worst rapper of all time but my mama still loves me ".
🤣🤣🤣
He's a legend in his own right
I personally didn't think silk was a good rapper but always respected how he maximized the talent he had. I remember back then joking with friends how fuck is silk pulling this off lol I thought he needed to work on his flow but at same time had some dope albums under his belt. Don't matter how we feel about his rapping abilities we can never take his achievements away from him. I salute the man.
Right and he has a speech impediment
Everyone Has Their Own Opinion, NO LIMIT
I listened to all Silkk The Shocker's album's & Charge It 2 Da Game & Made Man Is My Top
I remember one verse that sounded like blueface. I can call him the worst off one verse. I also remember that ATTENTION, now all my soldiers start fighting... That shit used to start fights every time in the club so much so they started mixing something else in before that part come on.
Where's the new album Silk we're waiting on it
Let Me Hit It......was a classic.....Silk had alot hits🔥💯🔥
Exactly,,i agree...Silk the Shocker was a real one,,and I totally disagree that he should be in the worst rapper category,,he should be no where close to that category...in fact,,white folks must have made that list,,because only white folks will put a real N like silk as number 1,,when vanilla ice should definitely be number 1....like I said,,Silk the Shocker does not belong anywhere near that list,,he got hella classic real N songs...
I always liked his offbeat flow. It’s like he made it make sense. 🤷🏾♂️ Stay up bro 💪🏾
Silkk and DMX was the only two rappers that went platinum twice in on year
Silkk's bars on "The Beginning" is dope as hell and his first album "Shock the Worst" was pretty good lyrically not the best ever heard but pretty good for a first album.
Tf is "Shock the Worst" Lol. It was called "The Shocker"
Charge it 2 the game still slaps.
I was a No Limit Soldier and I love his positive attitude, but he and his fans are delusional…he was wack af and rapped off beat af 🥴🥴
He even talks slightly offbeat/fast.
Silk did his thing, and got classics under his belt. Those saying he wack never sold a record in their life
Dont matter if we sold one or not. I dont need to sell a record to know someone lacks talent in that category. Classic is a stretch
@@DamienSJohnson Put your rap album up against Silks. Your album wouldn't even go aluminum!!!
@@grandam my album?
@@grandam man I dont need to rap to know if someone is lack luster. Do you have an album out.
@@DamienSJohnson No. That's why I can't put his down. It sold just like the other No Limit artists. I couldn't do as well as he did.
i never saw anything wrong with the way he rapped nor did all my friends who bought all his albums. i always heard rumors of people saying he was whack but never heard anyone actually say it in person. it seems like magazines at the time and radio show hosts thought that and not the fans because here we are 20 years later 50k views
The streets won’t say that. Silk was one of my favs
@@Sosakdash i think radio dj's were salty the south was running the game. no limit, cash money, 36 mafia. rockafella was like the only thing in new york that was really doing anything big as a whole team. silks verse on hoodlum niggaz on skull duggerys album is cold as fuck. and his first album. and the other song that goes im a n-o-l-i-m-i-t solder he goes ham
Silk has some great albums. He doesn’t have the greatest bars or anything but I still enjoyed his music.
silkk is not wack he just had his own style.. back in the day yeah a lot of us did feel like he messed songs up because he was kinda anti-rhythmic.. but he also had bangers like "let me hit it" and "it ain't my fault" and "just be straight with me" ... looking back, his method to rapping was actually kinda not as crazy as we thought it was (imo at least).. it was kinda like going from loud to soft over and over because he was emphasizing and de-emphasizing things.. i think made man was his worst album
yeah I think his first album The Shocker was his best worst imo
Silks music is a masterpiece compared to the shit that comes out today. I know this contradicts his message given in the interview, but these rappers today absolutely suck. The media is controlling the negative messages hitting the airwaves today. It isn't good.
@@crwnofenlightenment lol i wouldn't say rappers today are trash.. im 38 and i like a lot of these guys.. youngboy, juice wrld, trippie redd, etc... but yeah silkk is lit too.. i like it all
