Wow that glass curio cabinet in the barn would make a great display for your relics.
Hey Matt, there were some great pieces in the barn. They were supposed to have an auction
That old wood stove is gorgeous!! When you showed the bikes hanging from the ceiling, it was the chairs that caught my eye! That barn is just a treasure trove of beautiful antiques!!! I hope someone goes in there and rescues them before the roof falls in!! Great finds, guys!
Yes! The stove and chairs absolutely need rescuing!
I loved all the details on those old stoves. They are supposed to have a barn auction because they are selling all their property
Nice digs guys that crotal bell is a nice one. Those antiques in that barn are awesome someone needs to save those before that barn comes down. That’s awesome you guys met up with Matt and found some good stuff at the park.
Thanks Mike, they are selling there property and we're going to have a barn auction. They let us take a little tour before we left
I do love exploring old barns and houses. Definitely a great bit of adventure this week. Oh and I thought that one guy wasn't gonna be around as much 😂😂😂

@@PARelicHunters Seriously? Wow. Next time I come up, I’ll give “yunz” a shout. Miss finding PA relics. Hope you fellas find more! 👍🏼
That old barn is a treasure trove, beautiful iron stoves and such. I told my husband yesterday how surprising it is to see those old buildings holding on. They just get airier and airier!
Thanks Patty, they are supposed to have a barn auction because they are selling all their property.

Thanks so much Mike and Persis, Rich has found 2 different ones so far and I have found 1. We can't find much on them.
Loved that first location, guys! It was fun to see you team up on the place! Those brass nozzles are heavy, and give a super loud tone…in my limited experience.
Great hunt, fellas!
Thanks Steve, I also found a kids stirrup at the first location but that clip must have got lost. Yes, all that big brass and copper give a great sound.
Nice V nickel spill! Carriage plate was a hell of a find too!
Thanks Frank 👍
Cool finds for everyone in this one. That buggy plate is AWESOME, Rich! 👍👍👍
Thanks Rich, Rich has 2 now, and I've found 1

Thanks Cynthia, they are going to have a barn auction because they are selling all their property. It was fun to explore the old barn
A few years ago I found a 1940s hose nozzle, replaced the gasket and it still works great to this day.
Yes those old nozzles never broke not like today's crap
That was fun! I enjoyed seeing the relics!❤LL
Thanks Loretta, we're glad you enjoyed the video
Nice couple of hunts guys! Nice to see Matt make a guest appearance! That barn was cool, love when homeowners either give you a tour of the house or a barn or let you do some exploring, never know what you're going find! Congratulations Shawn on the big honking crotal bell too! Take care guys, good luck on your next hunt!
We got a couple small things from the barn, they were supposed to have an auction because they were selling all their property.
@@PARelicHunters That's pretty cool, sounds like nice people..👍
Cool video with a lot of spots! I can't believe Rich found that carriage license in a piblic park! How awesome is that! Loved Dave's "Wicked Digger" shirt! Must be some older footage cause I didnt see those fancy Deus II's! Great finds and awesome video guys!
Thanks Jim and Mason, yes it was some older footage especially the park hunt. I can't believe he found the carriage license there, that area has been pounded for years.
Wow I love the old barn. Glad you guys had a great time. Thanks for your videos. I really miss PA.
Thanks Melissa, they are selling all their property and going to have a barn auction.

Thanks Dave and Lori, they are going to have a barn auction because they are selling all their property. We're glad they let us take a look before we left.
💥💥💥Wow! Didn't you find a carriage license in the last video? Lucky you! I've never found one of those, never mind two. Excellent!
Yes he did in the woods, but I think that was several videos ago, but I might be wrong.
Very cool bunch of locations. Congratulations on the coins, tokens and relics!
Thanks Deej 👍 😊
Absolutely a candle holder.

Whoa I forgot about that footage with me. lol. That was a great time.
Yes Matt, that was awhile ago. Still finding stuff there, but the finds are getting less and less
Guys well done video! 11:21 sweet buckle
Thanks for watching Johnny 👍
Got to say Rich that 2 Horse Carriage License is awesome. Congrats. I recently found a Registered Motor Vehicle 1914 State of Nevada 892 Plate. Nevada was one of 13 or 14 States to Register Vehicles in the early 1900s. I hope i can find one like the one you found some day. Dave Congrats on the V Nickle Spill. Love the Hoover Token. Jerry Congrats on the IHP. Take Care all of you
Rich found 2 Carriage licenses so far and I have found 1. The motor vehicle plate is a cool find, I don't think I've ever seen one.
It's circular with 2 holes in it to bolt or maybe tie to the vehicle. Holes aren't very big though. The plate is made in Chicago.
Greetings from NW PA! Enjoy your videos and finds.
Thanks so much, we do some detecting in Butler, but that's about as far north as we've been too
Great finds and the barn explore was really fun. Hard to believe the glass in the curio cabinet was still intact. Thanks for another wonderful video, guys!
Thanks Carol, it was fun to get a chance to check out all the cool stuff in the barn. Wasn't sure how sturdy the floor was though
Another amazing hunt guys!
Thanks so much Jerry
I have that same Hoover campaign token. I found mine in a state park in PA about 2 hours from Pittsburgh. : )
Wow, that's cool, we like to go camping in the state parks around us
love that carriage license
Thanks, so do we
I found one of those tokens in Worcester Massachusetts believe it or not
That's awesome, I'm sure they made lots of them to give out.
Enjoyed the hunt guys ! Keep it up !
Thanks so much Tony, we're glad you enjoyed the video and the finds
Let’s go let’s go treasure 💕🌺✌️👵
Thanks Grandma Kelly
Great stuff! Crotal bell is on my bucket list!
Thanks, we hope you find one.
Nice job with the relics here.
Thanks so much for watching
Nice finds. Love the old barn!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. We're glad you enjoyed the video
Nice hunt guys
Thanks Dwight 👍
Guys when you look on top of the crotal bells. If its flat across the top it's a crotal bell thats been used for animal which they were intened to be used. When you see one corner that's rounded and the other is square. Even though it may have been made for animals and larger ones for carraiges at night during the Rev War to let people know not to shoot. But when they're rounded on one side they were wired onto a long wooden stick about 1 inch by 1 inch in order buy size. They were strung in the front of wagons and if you pulled the stick they would jingle as a set of jingle bells. Pulling it caused them to rock to one side causing that rounding off. The numbered bells arent as old as the ones with letters or nothing and the older ones had those nice pedal designs
There are some that's more of a yellowish bronze and they're mid to late 1770's roughly casted because they were quickly casted in America during the Rev War for carriage bells. The greenish ones are the normal copper brass mix almost all of them are. I learned this trying to I D one I dug in the heart of the Rev War engagement on private property with permission engraved with an early hand carved engraving with G. W. - C. A. on it
I pretty much know what it stands for I'm trying to get "the establishment" of scholars to agree on a concensus what it stands for but there's only one hang up to get an unanimous decision and they "need to know" where I recovered it and right now I'm not willing to give them that info quite yet until I hunt it to where I can't find a nail left. Reason being is the State (NJ) already screwed me and shut down a legal hunting township owned site then they brought the boy scouts in and did an archeological dig for weeks because I dug colonial finds and while digging I pulled up native tools in the hole and when trying to verify and identify one bone and 2 stone flint tools that I dug. I found out it's illegal to remove native artifacts from their natural site unless found in the water or the shore because movement and erosion probably moved it. But if it's on land you're not supposed to remove it and notify authorities. It's not a law they like telling people because they find these sites when guys like "US' locate them then if they find out they will take it over from there. I thought I should share that so maybe think twice about finding and showing native artifacts??? It may be different (legal) in Pa though I don't think so, but it's the law in NJ that you have to leave it right where you found it!!! Well get me once shame on (F) you. Get me twice and for my GW-CA crotal/wagon bell oh hell no I don't think so lol
Sorry about that guys for getting a little salty there but it brought up a bad memory because any punishable law with heavy fines and they seize your detector when you were hunting legally should be made publicly known because they know we're digging them and they'll sit and wait and watch until they see certain things from an older time era then they swoop in like vultures and we just shot ourselves in the foot without even knowing what we did wrong while handing them over your site whether you like it or not and your permission to hunt is long gone after that until they do a dig and say it's clear. Well I guess if you screen 3 feet down yeah it's clear so who wants to waist their time digging it them? What a joke.
Anyway if you find a point of two it's not gonna trigger anything if you see obvious tools especially made of hardened bone don't tape it on the live or at least edit it out for the video no matter how much you want to show it.
BTW I am not saying I condone people breaking any laws. I only brought up a fact that authorities aren't making public certain rules (laws) and allowing an innocent person to dig a metal non native target and unknowingly and completely by accident keep a weird looking thing they see that turns out to be native and it leads them to legal trouble. I would never condone illegal hunting though I think at minimum the state should post signs in state parks and/or legal hunting land to educate people on these rules (laws). If not I will because detectorists are losing enough land to hunt as it is. But making them us like criminals looting native sites for digging a plug with and indian penny in it (pun intended) is a joke.
Yes I'm one angry detectorists I wish the bell ordeal didn't remind me of my first bad encounter but there won't be a second. And hopefully none of you get a first
Thanks Jean for all.the great information on the crotal and sleigh bells. I have never even found an arrowhead yet. I hope to one day. Sorry about what happened to you, did you ever hear about the guys that were close to finding the Civil War payroll gold at Dens run Pa, the government came in took over the site and said nothing was found after a few days and nights of secretly digging in the woods.
💥💥💥11:48: A candle holder it is.
Thanks Lee, we thought that is what it was.
Nice finds guys
Thanks Old Pelon
Great hunts! Love that carriage license! Sweet V nickel spill and love the crotal bell! Ever get a number from it? I feel like they were sized differently depending on manufacturer or maybe era. I have seen 2 bells with the same number but different physical size. Wicked happy hunting 👊 Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks Chris, I also found a child's stirrup there but they must have lost that footage. Don't recall if he got a size on the crotal bell. Did you see the cool Wicked Digger t shirt I was wearing? Happy Hunting our friend.
Nice! Never had the guts to door knock. I need to start.
Thanks. Not all yards hold treasure. But we've found our good share of amazing coins and relics out there. Good luck
Awesome hunt, love the token
Thanks for watching, love finding tokens, so many different ones to find
That's cool! Down near Squirrel Hill PGH that's an old neighborhood there , congrats on all the finds 🤙
Thanks Keystoneplumber, we never tried door knocking there yet.
Fabulous 👌
Thanks Maria 👍 😊
That section of Schenley park will never be hunted out. There is so much trash thats masking good targets. Ive pulled plenty of silver and v nickels in that same area
I have too, over several years, but the finds are getting less and less. I have a new Deus 2 that I can try out there.
Great hunt guys! Love the crotal bell! Congrats Dave on the V Nick spill. Rich, that carriage license is awesome! Well done all. Nice saves!
Thanks Chad, we need to get back out again soon, we are running low on videos
Jerry has more screen time sense announcing his departure!! 😂 jk. Good hunt fellas. Once a relic hunter always a relic hunter,PARH for life!! Let me know when you need a stand in! Three just looks weird, 🤣 lmao
“Hoover boys”token was sweet!!
I think this is the last episode with him in it. I may have got the order of releases messed up for the videos. 😂
Thanks Kenny, you find older stuff out your way, but your always welcome to join us for a hunt
When you guys coming out eastern pa? Farm fields looking like another few weeks till harvest, but if you do want to come out. Lmk. I’ve been Trying to hook up with Angelo & Aaron from NEPARR….xyz z 😂
Oh boy, all 4 of ya💥💥💥💥 I save all of these, they're precious cuz they're so rare, just sayin😁 Watching now guys.... 💖💖💖💖
Thanks Mona, Jerry has an open invitation to detect with us anytime. We hope to see more videos with all of us in the future
Me too👍👍@@PARelicHunters
You guys could use some “QUARTER HOARDER” water to help with cleaning your finds.
I think that only works on the Eastern side of PA. 😆
@@PARelicHunters
And the western side of New Jersey lol
Unfortunately I live in Harrisburg and can pretty much only detect in city parks. One day it's gonna pay off, I can just feel it,lol. Coolest thing I found weirdly enough was a 1/2 franc coin from 1968. Wtf?
You can always try door knocking for permissions, look for old homes and farms to ask to detect.
@PARelicHunters I know, I just haven't gotten the balls yet to actually go and do it. Parks suck because I can't really even dig without feeling like the grass police are gonna get me. I pretty much only use my little sod cutter handheld shovel. I don't usually bother with deep targets cuz it's a pain in the ass.
Anyways, thanks for the reply, gonna have to put on my big boy pants and knock on some doors. Have a good day you guys. Good friends ate valuable too, remember that
Me and my brother Joe Pittsburgh coin hunting and our buddy Rick and other buddy Dave all went to San Leon Saturday I got a bucket Lister a shield nickel nothing else good my buddy Rick got a 14-karat money clip my brother got some buffaloes and some V nickels and some weedies and my buddy Dave got a merk and a Barber dime and also got a buffalo and a vehicle I believe it was a good day Schenley Park never disappoints
That was a great day, congrats on all your finds
