The critique of festival culture I can definitely relate to. Many people want to experience their festivals like they're experiencing buying a ticket for a film of show and expect to be entertained. And then visit many festivals like that. Hitting a club for the artist, the DJ, the style, is different, the vibe is very different, when you're interested in the music, in the progress, the vibe of the club or the label, sweeping away in a set rather than walk around like you're in a museum and can hit some stuff here or there to your liking.
Agree with that, something I've noticed the last couple of years. In London there's a real issue with club culture. People tend to be looking for an experience every couple of months or so as opposed to heading out dancing every weekend. I certainly noticed music and djs don't really have a factor anymore. Most young people don't seem to be aware of any dj's or even have an association to a particular scene. I guess the role of instagram/fb is huge whereby people want to be seen at interesting events. Certainly getting a photo of yourself seems more important than dancing. Also I guess the accessibility to free music. Back in the day dj's were the gatekeepers to a sound whereby now you have unlimited music at your finger tips without any effort. I know things come in cycles however it does seem a while off that we get back to people just heading out and putting a solid weekend on the dancefloor like back in the day. No phones, no music you've heard before, just heads down and getting your groove on.
Have the drums last. Lol. Of course he would do everything the exact opposite to the way I do it. Not saying you have to do it my way or the high way but if someone told me they was making a club tune and they was not doing the drums first I'd insist they do ESPECIALLY if working with me. Don't forget people. What a joke. I think that means something different to this chap. Don't forget people = Don't Forget Me. Because he doesn't care about anybody else but himself. Hahahaha Bumbaclat (Nes Manga)
Wise words which people dont understand. Stop saying wise words and start seeing what is going on, the quality control is at an all time low. - We have these new heads with no respect or regard, so much so we now have love music, hate racism promotion!? Wtf. Keep that out of what didnt build this, or go do Death metal.
good to hear this, thanks for sharing the video

DJXS110 take away social media and cell phones. People lack the ability to be present and enjoy the moment. They this causes them to not feel the DJ.
@@FunkyVibesUK So agree with you...and it only got worse 😭
