  • Around the techno legend Derrick May, this grandiose concert opened the Weather Festival organized by Adrien Betra and Aurelien Dubois, on the 4th of June 2015 in the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, France.
    For this occasion, the Detroit veteran is surrounded by Francesco Tristano (ex-Aufgang) and the Philharmonic Orchestra Lamoureux, under the direction of Dzijan Emin.
    An amazing hybrid project between electro and classical music.
    Produced by Amos Rozenberg for Paramax Films in 4K with 9 Cinema cameras by Samuel Petit for Arte TV.

    WOW! They took a Chicago House track and did it live. Ron Hardy premiered this at the Powerhouse in Chicago in the late 80ies. I was there when he premiered this track edited his way. When he premiered it the crowd went nuts. Played it like 4 times that night. We use to tear the floor up Jackin our bodies to this. I would lose all control when Ron beat this. I swear this is his edited version they’re doing live decades later. Allllllllll right Ron, You Better Beat Us. RIP Ron Hardy. You are greatly missed.

      This song really is like the bridge between Chicago House and Detroit Techno in a lot of ways as someone too young to know about it when it was new.

    Define Dichotomy? Imagine being a teenager in a group of best friends in the late 1980's in Chicago where we were living the drama being played out on the streets where Housemusic was born and Detroitechno and Chicago Acid Techno music was the backdrop and we lived to "Jack Our Bodies"!

    • @ITCHFLGS
      @ITCHFLGS 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I jacked my body from 83 to 91. Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy are the true founders of House Muzic. Especially Ron Hardy. Ron would beat Muzic no other DJs would even think about playing. Ron would beat oversees Muzic, rock Muzic, orchestrated Muzic, make Muzic play backward, acid tracks, and beat machine Muzic all in one set a night. The local artist and well-known artist of the Muzic industry from back in the day made good Muzic that he would edit and play his way. He would make his edits to what we now call old-school Muzic and would have our azz in another world. The Warehouse, the Powerplant, US Studios, and the Muzic Box here in Chicago are Legendary Clubs where the Muzic and name House Muzic was born. I know because I lived it from 83 to it died down and almost went away around 91. In the passing of Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles had already started progressing house music in other directions. Now Ron’s and Frankie’s legacy of House Muzic is all over the world. May Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckle continue to RIP. We miss you here on earth. 🔊🔊🔊Deep Househead for life.
