Great layout! Finally someone who makes a van that allows you to bring a couple people along for the ride safely (with forward-facing seats with 3-pt seat belts. AND a large fridge vs. something tiny AND a bathroom and flexible bed layout. Great job!
Don't understand why bed lifts aren't used more. They seem like the best of both worlds to me--you don't have the hassle of setting up a bed every night but it doesn't take up valuable floor space like a fixed bed either.
You have to give up the “garage” space - great for bikes and other gear storage - but overall I agree, the livability of having a proper table AND a full bed that you don’t have to mess with seems unbeatable!!
Probably cost, weight, if it breaks & you aren't mechanically inclined. You either have a bed stuck in the up or down position. Unless they have manual cranks. Anyone know if there are more A/C vents than the ones right above the bed? Cuz if those are the only ones, you can't use the A/C unless the top bed is down & the person on top will get the brunt of the cold blast. Beautiful woodwork tho.
I am always amazed how resourceful and clever people are in building a van. Every inch is used super, great optics and all in the smallest of spaces. Really great work and it looks great.
Nice build. Happijack is a must IMO. A few thoughts, lift the fridge , create cubby for toilet on slide. Also FYI thanks for the fun we had counting how many times you said " little" in this video lol!! Tripple digits!!!! Wow!! Lol, Nice job!!! Nice build!! 👏👏
i see that they make a water a proof door for the shower to seal off the toilet area for once you slide it out of the way, I believe it stainless steel it is definitely needed to keep the water and moisture from penetrating the Toilet resting place...
Does this build have a grey water tank? You should put a link to your website in each video description and the About page. Great craftsmanship. Can’t believe that all fits in such a short wheelbase.
This van has the exact bedroom layout I’m going for I really love the idea of having benches be under the space and the bed out of sight out of mind. I would love to get it built hidden a bit more where it sits flush if I could lol 😂 but I really love this setup. That’s what I would go for if I was able to build a van.
Exactly what I just thought. Although I think I might never be able to afford it 🤣🤣🤣I mean they didn't tell the price but it would be very interesting to know...
Great build... The only negative thing I could see is the lower bed cushions have too much play in them and someone will end up in the middle of the joins... The build and layout itself looks lovely... (as they say 'everyone's a critic...' especially if you've got OCD...)😍
Add some overhead storage above the driving area. Maybe a sliding tray under the kitchen cabinet. Make it slide toward the outside and use it as a outside dining table.
This is one of the BEST builds I have seen. I thinks this would fit me well, with a couple of small changes. I would change the wood look, and I would have a fresh water dispenser on the sink. Also I would add and outside shower hose.
Nice Van, I specially like the Floor Plan with the Happijac Bed! The use of AMG Batteries is a reasonable alternative to the Higher Costs of Lithium Batteries, even though there overall performance is less. The Price Point of a build like this is very practical when you compare it to other RV which can run as high as $300,000.00!

I love this build!!! I'm a big fan of the lift beds and it's nice to see how far up it goes to the ceiling. I loved all the wood. Usually I don't but the way you put it all together is absolutely gorgeous! I want this van for myself! It's perfect! Thanks for sharing.
Ive noticed that slot of people who convert vans as a business seem to forget how important pantry/food space is. Normal vacationers don’t think about it do much because they still each out a lot. “Travelers” and full-timers know that cooking all your meals on board has to be figured into the build.
Nice build. Only thing I feel its missing is extra storage cubard space above the cabin seats, and the garage area is kinda small. You could have done a slight raised floor in the center of the seating area so that longer items such as skis or snowboard could slide underneath.
Thank you for the suggestion. This build is custom so the conversion was built to the customers specifications and they did not want the raised floor or storage above the cabin seats.
Excellent, all this "van staging" all the furniture is very well placed and it is feasible to do the same on Promaster 3500 ? Why not add 4 horizontal rectangular cupboards under the roller bed ? Because it's better for the guests as it makes it possible to travel with 4 people
Are you able to post a link to where exactly you purchased the bed lift! I have been looking and looking but no one puts an exact link. If you can you will be a life saver haha. Thank you!

There is storage in the Dinette bench, above the back passenger seat, in all the upper cabinets, and in the kitchenette. This client's main purpose was to use this vehicle as a rental and they have had it for a year and have said that the storage works perfectly for their clients.
Great build. What are the dimensions of the Happijac bed lift you use? Was it one of there standard sizes or custom? What did you use for the actual bed frame? Thanks

Great looking build. Starting my own build very soon. I'm looking at my happijac now. Curious what size your Happijac frame width is. It looks wider than my frame but it just might be the video. This bedlift is a game changer for us🙏
Hi Scott! Thank you for the compliment! The HappiJac bed rails we used are 67" long. There are smaller ones out there but we went with longer ones to try to maximize the bed space!
Exactly the solution i want to build in my promaster camper van. Wonder if this happijac solution is available in europe too? Nice build though even if the selecte wood is not my type but love the design and ideas! Great work!
Great build. Always love the happy Jack's. Curious if you only used the 120v usb ports. Or if there are other 12v usb ports. I'm no expert, but had read in my Van build research converting 12v power up to 120v only to dial it back down for your 2-5amp USB ports is an unnecessary power conversion and can contribute to power loss through the conversion. Good luck with your van build business, thinking of doing the same.
Hi Charlie, Thank you for the comment. I believe this conversion only has 110v outlets per the customers request that are power by the inverter. However, we do install 12v USB ports in other conversions that run off the the 12v battery. is is a good solution to not loss any power.
10 of 10 for style and amenities! I do have questions though. Why no insulation around the wheel well? Just curious. I would think sound deadening and insulation would improve the live aboard experience.
So where do you store everyone's clothes? There are very few storage compartments inside. I take it this is just for camping excursions not full time living??
Hi Valorie! This particular client intended to use this conversion for rental purposes. Short trips and excursions not full-time so they weren't concerned with storage for clothes. However, there is room under the bench and the passenger seat is removable if they ever did want to take the seat out and add a bench with storage they could do that as well!
Great vid, nice job on the van build!! I did have two questions, what are the dimensions of your shower pan? And second, did you use the hapijack bed lift or another? Also was this particularly difficult to install?
We used them on a few vans but we have run into a few problems with them breaking if they do not have enough power. We have since switched to Dometic and Isotherm
