Many themes that I can identify with. That's what made Mansun and Paul so fascinating to me. Such an underrated artist and such a wonderful man. I love you Paul Draper.

I don't know who so cruelly (well I'm sure we probably have a hunch) criticized Paul in this manner but I do hope he feels vindicated having turned such barbs into such a beautiful song. And the fact is - the man clearly has so many ideas he can barely fit them into one album at times. This is sumptious and yet has a sleazy undercurrent. Love it.
The kscope page says: "Steven Wilson, who played bass, acoustic and electric guitar, Moog, Mellotron and Prophet synths on the track". That should solve this one. :-)
There's always that literal mindset of musos who dismiss anything that doesn't seem 'serious' (also taking issue with Mansun's debut). In modern (sadly reductive) terms they probably don't want to 'invest'. More fool them!
