From the second the music started I loved this song...definitely my favourite of his solo work...so far.

Ok folks, sorry to say that it's absolutely shameful that this has so few likes. Come on, it's a masterpiece, where are you all? Were you so spellbound that you forgot to click like? Yeah. That HAS to be the only explanation, surely.

Love this tune so much. It's up there with the best of anything Mansun did.

Brilliant! I wish this track was in the album. Mansun was an integral part of my teen years, I used to listen it a lot while working on my fiction.

This sounds like a classic mansun b side. Really great.

And my head starts to ache
    And it feels wonderful
And you gave me the space
To work out who I am
    To decide why I’m here
In the vacuum that you left
    To completely isolate
    To destroy everything
Practice being uncomfortable for the sake of someone elses life
    The silence is deafening
Just because you’re absent here, doesn’t mean your presence isn’t felt
    The silence is deafening
And the noise starts to build
To come back to my life
    And eventually calm
    To completely isolate
    To be normal again
    With this ominous truth
    That the agony became
    Addictive like you
Practice being uncomfortable for the sake of someone elses life
    The silence is deafening
Just because you’re absent here, doesn’t mean your presence isn’t felt
    The silence is deafening
And my head starts to ache
And you gave me the space to work out who I am
