Slow internet problems

Squad always had thus ridiculious long download times. 400 mb can take 2 hours with fiber internet lmao. This has been the case since squad was in early acces

I remember playing with you in the old days, back when this channel was nothing. I'm not even sure if this channel existed then. There's not many squad leads that's like you anymore. And it takes forever to get into a server now or find one that's not fully packed to the brim. Extremely proud of you brother. 👏
Has waiting time improved for server's and is it worth buying now
@@S.huddo-db3ewdefinetly worth looking into the game with the new infantry combat overhaul update. For waiting time I have no idea how bad they were a year ago, but you normally find a full enough server that isnt full to the brink at least here in Germany. Sometimes you need to wait but normally like 5min just grab a book or smth and you are fine waiting for this short time.
You can also refund the game if you havent played it for more than two hours on steam iirc.

ACE community is pretty legit man. Veteran owned and run by 11 series. Really cool group of guys that take the game relatively seriously.

I used to play the early Battlefield Games and old school CS, and while I haven't played a competitive shooter seriously in over a decade, this kind of team work could definitely add something that's missing to my life.

Means you gotta take it slower and check all your sightlines. Check places you think you’d be hiding, and listen for comms from your team about locations.

You need good headphones 🎧 because the sound design on squad is epic
It takes at least 100 hours for a basic familiarity and 200 to be considered experienced in Squad, in my opinion.

Squad new players, don't forget to try and help your Squad Leaders! Ask them what they want, if they need a specific kit/class and where they would like you to spawn. Do that and your experience will be 50% better at least. This is the correct way to start playing Squad!!!
Sometimes we join squads that have novice SQLeaders, don't worry about it, help him the most you can and you both will be learning!!!

I feel like as a new player it's most important to learn a couple roles and get good at those instead of hopping into a role you have no experience at. I had more fun as a rifleman/automatic rifleman than I did as anything else when I was new. Throwing a LAT/HAT kit at a noob is just asking for trouble lol
@@benlehman4827 Yes, I always offer to teach them how to use the kits that are harder, in which you need to understand ammunition types and/or distances like ATs and Grenadiers. If only people did that more.

this was the most intense, stressful, adrenalin rushing, awesome game video i have ever seen. My potato Pc can't run it, but my grind is onn and hopefull one day I'll treat myself with a gaming PC and play games like this with guys like you.

you can do it bro i played on a potato pc for years and higher end games would run like slideshows but i saved up here and there and now i can run any game on any setting you can do it too champ
If you have a console (or pc too), check out Hell Let Loose. Similar type of game with squads, tanks, recon, and a need for communication, but in a WW2 setting.

Mine had just enough, had to uninstall every game in my library. It was a very sobering first time experience, the game is hard and it takes a lot of getting used to but it is fun getting into firefights, hitting vehicles with rockets and pushing/defending cap points.
When Karmakut orders a retreat you know the situation is a shite sandwich.

Y'all need to do security on corners & when crossing roads...also work as a team when clearing rooms. You respawn 5+ times so that's making you careless. Combine "ready or not" tactics with this open layout and you'll be better.

I have changed tracks in combat. It took us like two hours to replace a pad on an M2 Bradley.

First time watching your vid. I've never play this game but the footage looks awesome. A few tips of a fellow leader: Talk less, more precise. Try to not bring your feelings into the voice chat, it will affect all players. Try to flank more and apply hammer and anvil at all times. I cringe when your entire squad got slaughtered in that alley, you should have ordered 1 small squad to hold and distract the enemy, while one squad go around the side to flank. If it's not possible to flank retreat to a better position is better than standing still trying to savage a bad situation.

yeah I'd like to see where they just take away the option to play on the low graphics altogether, yeah it alienates low end pc users, but it's bs that you can have it set so that the foliage doesn't show up, and thus can't hide.

I think i need treatment for PTSD after watching your last Squad video, it’s so realistic.
I love the hyper-realism of the game, down to pulling out tools from a box. Actually repairing the track? Eh, just whack it a few times with a mallet, then a couple twists of the ratchet to inflate it.
This whole video is complete craziness, which makes 32:13 so weird. Made me think of times when I'd be sitting in a loud cafeteria or something and then, out of nowhere, everyone decides to stop talking at once, and the constant hum of noise disappears.
Damn cant wait to have my pc. Love this game.

This was the most *realistic* infantry combat game I’ve ever seen. All that was missing was calls for artillery or close air support.😬👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
it's in there too, that and ordering uav surveillance, but only the player playing the commander role can initiate those things
And another thing that it was missing, was that theirs no such thing as revives.
The only chance you got is if the round hits your vest or a noncritical place on one of your limbs
