    I’m starting my own detailing business now. I been used the tornador. And I always knew using one was the best way to detail. But yeah. Wish me luck. I’m subscribing, much love from NY/VA.

    great vid bud! I was on the fence about getting compressed air (my Ridgid vac has a solid blow function), but the cleaning gun is a huge win. Great job 👏

    These worked great for dog hair, sand and pine needles in carpets. I would have some spare cones. That is what seemed to wear the quickest. This and a steaming device were my go to. Nice video

    I’m proud of you even though I never net you but just watched all detail vids. I’m not surprised cause you’re ambitious and you’re got dreams. Do your best to keep Cisco motivated because he’d make a great partner when you open up a detail or mobile business. I know you trust him. You two are brothers who through construction school together 👏🏾👏🏾. Stay blessed D🫡

    Those rigid compressors are overrated. 1) It's fucking heavy 2) It's loud, not really quiet 3) Some units won't reach 200psi maybe max 185psi at the reservoir tank 4) When psi drops to 150 at the reservoir, the unit cycles on 5) I only got 7 seconds of continous blown air at 90psi (outlet) before unit kicked it, which means if you are detailing, your unit will be constantly running causing overheating. Even the manual states to cycle machine 5 min on, 5 min off 6) The regulator at the outlet is not fixed at 90psi, it will drop to about 75psi when trigger is pulled. Even when the regulator knob is pushed in. 7) It takes about 21 sec to refill reservoir from 150psi to max psi, but that low number doesn't matter cause your compressor will always be running 8) When compared to porter cable pancake, the rigid is a tad quieter and it reaches 185psi-200psi in about 1:38 min where porter reaches 150psi in 2:08 min. The only benefit I can see is the 5.1 SCFM offered by the rigid. Tornador doesn't mention what SCFM specs to use, it only states the PSI/BAR. So if you want to use a compressor for detailing there might be better and cheaper options. You can get a cheap pancake compressor and not feel as bad if the unit gets damaged cause the rigid is about $350 plus tax.

    In order to run this tool u must have 5 gallon air compressor that has 2.5hp motor with a max 5cfm if u dont have those specs plus unit that goes goes 125 psi it junk my compressor has 5.2 gallon tank max psi of 150psi with 3hp oil lube pump plus it has at 40psi 6.5cfm at 90psi has max 6.9cfm

    I bought this compressor recently and finally tried this combo, However I have the output psi set to 85, use the tornador gun, tank refills but then the output does not go back to the 85 psi, it is either higher or lower (70-100) even with the knob locked in place. Not sure if it’s user error or not since it’s my first time using a compressor and tornador combo but I’m following the instructions on the manuals. Anyone of my fellow detailers using this combo that has experienced this?

    Im looking to add a new compressor. I currently have my old Harbor Freight 3 gallon compressor which doesn't have the power to run a tornador.
    My question is, how does the cleaning gun work or differ from using a pressure washer/ foam Canon to clean rubber matts?

    • @Tonisuperfly
      @Tonisuperfly 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe it differs by using a whole lot less water. The pressure comes from the air, so requires minimal water and cleaning product. Much easier to dry off afterwards, unlike the pressure washer, which saturates everything and can really only be used outside.

    • @YerBrwnDogAteMyRabit
      @YerBrwnDogAteMyRabit ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the compressor. The bigger you have, the more reserve air you have. The bigger the motor, the faster it fills.. My 30 gal drops to 80psi after like 10ish min of near constant use @90 psi and runs for about 5 min to get back up to 125. These little guys, like a twin tank or pancake come back on in 3ish minutes. If you're not mobile, you're better off with a bigger compressor.

    • @lel3450
      @lel3450 ปีที่แล้ว

      The twin tank is best for mobile since it keeps a consistent psi
