It most likely is a an issue with a broken or loose belt inside. You would have to open it up (unplug it first) and see if there is a loose or broken belt. Then you would have to buy a replacement belt and install it. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Hello, I just purchased on eBay the projector that your are showing. For some reason the left reel (taking the film) does not move to 'catch' the film coming out. Is there any setting or swith that you know of that I am failing to see to make this reel move?
When you turn the dial to 'Forward' does the left reel turn at all? It should turn automatically when you turn the dial to 'Forward'. See the video at 4:10. One thing to make sure is that you haven't accidently turned it to 'Still'. That is easy to do and the left reel will not turn if you are on 'Still'.

Most likely you need a new bulb
